Abstract
제조 시에 산 용액을 사용할 필요가 없는 세라믹스용 형광 부여재를 제공한다. 세라믹스용 형광 부여재를, 글리세린을 5 내지 90중량% 및 브롬화비스무트(BiBr3), 브롬산비스무트(Bi(BrO3)3), 염화비스무트(BiCl3), 염소산비스무트(Bi(ClO3)3), 불화비스무트(BiF3), 오불화비스무트(BiF5), 수산화비스무트(Bi(OH)3), 요오드화비스무트(BiI3), 요오드산비스무트(Bi(IO3)3), 질산비스무트(Bi(NO3)3), 차질산비스무트(Bi5O(OH)9(NO3)4), 인산비스무트(BiPO4), 황산비스무트(Bi2(SO4)3)로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상을 0.01 내지 10중량% 포함하는 수용액으로 한다.
Description
본 발명은 세라믹스에 형광성을 부여하는 형광 부여재에 관한 것이다.
세라믹스 재료는 널리 사용되어 있고, 예를 들어 구강 내에 장착되는 치과용 보철물을 제조하는 경우에는, 산화지르코늄 및 산화이트륨 등의 미량의 안정화재를 포함하는 지르코니아 재료를 포함하는 블록이 사용되고, 이것을 CAD/CAM 기술에 의해 요구되는 형상으로 깎아내는 것이 행하여지고 있다. 지르코니아 블록은, 성형체에 하소(calcination) 처리를 실시하여 하소체로 한 후, 또한 소성 처리를 실시한 소결체의 상태에서 기공소 등의 가공 시설에 제공되고, 치과의가 제작한 모형에 따라, 가공 시설 내의 기술자가 지르코니아 블록으로 프레임을 제작함과 함께 이것에 도재를 축성 등 함으로써 보철물이 제조된다.
그런데, 지르코니아(산화지르코늄)는 천연 치아와 비교하여 광의 투과도 및 형광성이 낮고, 상이한 색조로 보이기 때문에 심미성의 면에서 문제가 있었다. 따라서 미량의 안정화재를 포함하는 지르코니아에, 형광성 성분으로서 Pr, Sm, Eu, Ga, Gd, Tm, Nd, Dy, Tb, Er의 원소를 포함하는 분말을 혼합한 성형체에 하소 처리를 실시하여 하소체로 한 후, 소성 처리를 실시함으로써 천연 치아에 가까운 형광성을 부여하고 있었다(예를 들어, 특허문헌 1 참조).
한편, 보다 간단한 방법으로서, 염화비스무트, 수산화비스무트, 질산비스무트 등의 비스무트 화합물을 포함한 용액(형광 부여재)에 성형 후의 지르코니아의 하소체를 침지하거나 용액을 도포하거나 하는 등의 방법으로 적용하고, 그 후, 소성 처리를 실시함으로써 지르코니아에 적당한 형광성을 부여하는 방법이 있었다. 그러나 이 종래 기술에 있어서는, 상기 용액의 제조 시에 상기 비스무트 화합물을 용해시키기 위하여 대량의 산 용액(특히 공업에 있어서 자주 사용되는 염산, 황산, 질산 및 이들의 혼산)을 사용할 필요가 있었기 때문에 큰 위험을 수반하고, 또한 생산성도 나빴다.
따라서 본 발명은 세라믹스용 형광 부여재의 제조 시에 산 용액을 사용할 필요가 없는 세라믹스용 형광 부여재를 제공하는 것을 과제로 한다.
본 발명자들은 상기 과제를 해결하기 위하여 예의 검토한 결과, 특정한 비스무트 화합물을 글리세린을 포함하는 수용액과 혼합하면, 혼합 후의 액이 산 용액이 되는 것으로 비스무트 화합물을 용해시킬 수 있고, 제조 시에 산 용액을 사용하지 않고 종래와 동등한 세라믹스용 형광 부여재를 제조하는 것이 가능한 것을 발견하여 본 발명을 완성하였다.
즉 본 발명은 글리세린을 5 내지 90중량% 및 브롬화비스무트(BiBr3), 브롬산비스무트(Bi(BrO3)3), 염화비스무트(BiCl3), 염소산비스무트(Bi(ClO3)3), 불화비스무트(BiF3), 오불화비스무트(BiF5), 수산화비스무트(Bi(OH)3), 요오드화비스무트(BiI3), 요오드산비스무트(Bi(IO3)3), 질산비스무트(Bi(NO3)3), 차질산비스무트(Bi5O(OH)9(NO3)4), 인산비스무트(BiPO4), 황산비스무트(Bi2(SO4)3)로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상의 비스무트 화합물을 0.01 내지 10중량% 포함하는 수용액인 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹스용 형광 부여재이다.
본 발명에 따른 세라믹스용 형광 부여재는, 또한 디글리세린, 글리세린 단위가 20 미만인 폴리글리세린, 에리트리톨, 펜타에리트리톨, 디펜타에리트리톨, 아라비톨, 리비톨, 크실리톨, 소르비톨, 만니톨, 갈락티톨, 이노시톨, 쿠에르시톨, 1,2-프로판디올, 디프로필렌글리콜, 펜탄디올, 1,3-부탄디올, 1,2-에탄디올, 3-옥사펜탄-1,5-디올, 트리에틸렌글리콜, 메탄올, 에탄올, 2-프로판올, 2-메틸-2-프로판올, 1-펜탄올, 2-펜탄올, 3-펜탄올, 2-메틸-1-부탄올, 3-메틸-1-부탄올, 2-메틸-2-부탄올, 3-메틸-2-부탄올, 2,2-디메틸-1-프로판올로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상의 알코올을 5 내지 80중량% 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 세라믹스용 형광 부여재는, 또한 붕화툴륨(TmB6), 브롬화툴륨(TmBr3), 염화툴륨(TmCl3), 불화툴륨(TmF3), 수소화툴륨(TmH3), 요오드화툴륨(TmI3), 질산툴륨(Tm(NO3)3), 산화툴륨(Tm2O3), 수산화툴륨(Tm(OH)3)로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상의 툴륨 화합물을 0.01 내지 10중량% 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명에 따른 세라믹스용 형광 부여재는, 그 제조 시에 산 용액을 사용할 필요가 없는 우수한 세라믹스용 형광 부여재이다.
본 발명에서 사용하는 비스무트 화합물은, 브롬화비스무트(BiBr3), 브롬산비스무트(Bi(BrO3)3), 염화비스무트(BiCl3), 염소산비스무트(Bi(ClO3)3), 불화비스무트(BiF3), 오불화비스무트(BiF5), 수산화비스무트(Bi(OH)3), 요오드화비스무트(BiI3), 요오드산비스무트(Bi(IO3)3), 질산비스무트(Bi(NO3)3), 차질산비스무트(Bi5O(OH)9(NO3)4), 인산비스무트(BiPO4), 황산비스무트(Bi2(SO4)3)로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상의 분말상 화합물이다. 이 비스무트 화합물은 글리세린을 포함하는 수용액과 혼합하면 산성이 되어 비스무트 화합물의 혼합을 용이하게 한다. 그 때문에 제조 시에는, 글리세린을 포함하는 수용액과 분말상 비스무트 화합물을 사용하는 것만이어도 되고, 혼합 전의 용액으로서 산 용액을 사용할 필요가 없다.
상기 분말상 비스무트 화합물은, 세라믹스용 형광 부여재 중에 0.01 내지 10중량% 포함될 필요가 있고, 0.01중량% 미만에서는 형광 부여재로서의 효과가 얻어지기 어렵고, 10중량%를 초과하여 배합하는 것은 용해도의 면에서 어려운 경향이 있고, 또한 형광 강도도 도리어 저하되는 경향이 있다. 바람직하게는 0.1 내지 7중량%이며, 더욱 바람직하게는 0.2 내지 1중량%이다.
글리세린은, 수용액으로서 사용함으로써 상기 특정한 비스무트 화합물을 용이하게 용해시키는 효과를 갖는다. 글리세린의 세라믹스용 형광 부여재 중의 배합량은 5 내지 90중량%이며, 바람직하게는 15 내지 80중량%이며, 더욱 바람직하게는 20 내지 55중량%이다. 이 범위 이외에는 비스무트 화합물을 용해시키는 효과가 저하되는 경향이 있다.
본 발명에 따른 세라믹스용 형광 부여재에는, 비스무트 화합물의 용해성이나 용액을 블록에 적용할 때의 조작성 면에서 추가로 알코올을 혼합해도 된다. 알코올은, 디글리세린, 글리세린 단위가 20 미만인 폴리글리세린, 에리트리톨, 펜타에리트리톨, 디펜타에리트리톨, 아라비톨, 리비톨, 크실리톨, 소르비톨, 만니톨, 갈락티톨, 이노시톨, 쿠에르시톨, 1,2-프로판디올, 디프로필렌글리콜, 펜탄디올, 1,3-부탄디올, 1,2-에탄디올, 3-옥사펜탄-1,5-디올, 트리에틸렌글리콜, 메탄올, 에탄올, 2-프로판올, 2-메틸-2-프로판올, 1-펜탄올, 2-펜탄올, 3-펜탄올, 2-메틸-1-부탄올, 3-메틸-1-부탄올, 2-메틸-2-부탄올, 3-메틸-2-부탄올, 2,2-디메틸-1-프로판올로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상이다. 이들 알코올의 배합량은 세라믹스용 형광 부여재 중에 5 내지 80중량%이며, 바람직하게는 6 내지 40중량%이며, 더욱 바람직하게는 8 내지 25중량%이다.
본 발명에 따른 세라믹스용 형광 부여재에는, 또한 툴륨 화합물이 포함되어 있어도 된다. 툴륨 화합물은 지르코니아의 블록에 포함되는 미량의 산화이트륨 등의 안정화재와 상호 작용함으로써 형광성을 부여한다. 이 작용에 의해 전술한 특정한 비스무트 화합물과 병용함으로써, 더 높은 형광성을 부여하는 것이 가능하게 된다.
툴륨 화합물로서는, 붕화툴륨(TmB6), 브롬화툴륨(TmBr3), 염화툴륨(TmCl3), 불화툴륨(TmF3), 수소화툴륨(TmH3), 요오드화툴륨(TmI3), 질산툴륨(Tm(NO3)3), 산화툴륨(Tm2O3), 수산화툴륨(Tm(OH)3)으로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상이다. 툴륨 화합물은 세라믹스용 형광 부여재 중에 0.01 내지 10중량%의 범위에서 배합되어 있는 것이 바람직하다. 0.01중량% 미만에서는 효과가 얻어지기 어렵고, 10중량% 을 초과하여 배합하는 것은 효과에 대한 비용의 점에서 바람직하지 않다. 보다 바람직하게는 0.1 내지 3중량%이며, 더욱 바람직하게는 0.2 내지 1중량%이다.
실시예
물 40.7g에 글리세린(와꼬 쥰야꾸사제) 52.3g을 첨가하고, 30분간 혼합 교반하였다. 이 글리세린의 수용액에 질산비스무트(와꼬 쥰야꾸사제) 7g을 혼합하고 추가로 120분간 교반하여 세라믹스용 형광 부여재(실시예 1)를 얻었다. 마찬가지의 방법에 의해, 표 1에 기재한 배합으로 본 발명에 따른 세라믹스용 형광 부여재(실시예 2 내지 7) 및 그 비교예가 되는 종래의 산 용액을 사용한 제조 방법에 의해 제조된 세라믹스용 형광 부여재(비교예 1 내지 2)를 준비하였다. 또한, 본 실시예 및 비교예에 있어서는, 표 1에 기재된 수치의 g 단위로 세라믹스용 형광 부여재를 제조하고 있지만, 실제의 종래 기술에 의한 제조에서는, 예를 들어 1로트 100kg의 제조라면, 적어도 몇십 리터의 농염산(염화수소 농도: 37중량%)을 운반하고, (비교예 1의 배합이라면) 10kg의 농염산을 혼합 시에 취급할 필요가 있었기 때문에 큰 위험을 수반하고 또한 효율이 나쁜 것이었다.
<형광성의 평가> 형광성의 평가는, 동일 조건으로 가공한 지르코니아로부터 직경 15mm, 두께 0.6mm의 원반 형상으로 제작된 하소 처리를 실시한 하소체를, 각 실시예 및 각 비교예의 세라믹스용 형광 부여재 중에 2분간 침지하여 건조시킨 후에 소성 처리를 실시한 소결체를, 마이크로플레이트 리더(상품명 SpectraMax M2, 몰리큘러 디바이스 재팬사제)에 의해 측정하고, 얻어진 형광 강도(상대 형광 단위)를 비교함으로써 행하였다. 결과를 표 1에 나타내었다.
표 1에 나타낸 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 세라믹스용 형광 부여재는, 그 제조 시에 산 용액을 사용하지 않아도 종래와 동등한 형광 강도를 갖는 세라믹스용 형광 부여재를 얻는 것이 가능하다.
Claims (4)
- 글리세린을 5 내지 90중량% 및 브롬화비스무트(BiBr3), 브롬산비스무트(Bi(BrO3)3), 염화비스무트(BiCl3), 염소산비스무트(Bi(ClO3)3), 불화비스무트(BiF3), 오불화비스무트(BiF5), 수산화비스무트(Bi(OH)3), 요오드화비스무트(BiI3), 요오드산비스무트(Bi(IO3)3), 질산비스무트(Bi(NO3)3), 차질산비스무트(Bi5O(OH)9(NO3)4), 인산비스무트(BiPO4), 황산비스무트(Bi2(SO4)3)로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상의 비스무트 화합물을 0.01 내지 10중량% 포함하는 수용액인 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹스용 형광 부여재.
- 제1항에 있어서, 디글리세린, 글리세린 단위가 20 미만인 폴리글리세린, 에리트리톨, 펜타에리트리톨, 디펜타에리트리톨, 아라비톨, 리비톨, 크실리톨, 소르비톨, 만니톨, 갈락티톨, 이노시톨, 쿠에르시톨, 1,2-프로판디올, 디프로필렌글리콜, 펜탄디올, 1,3-부탄디올, 1,2-에탄디올, 3-옥사펜탄-1,5-디올, 트리에틸렌글리콜, 메탄올, 에탄올, 2-프로판올, 2-메틸-2-프로판올, 1-펜탄올, 2-펜탄올, 3-펜탄올, 2-메틸-1-부탄올, 3-메틸-1-부탄올, 2-메틸-2-부탄올, 3-메틸-2-부탄올, 2,2-디메틸-1-프로판올로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상의 알코올을 5 내지 80중량% 더 포함하는 세라믹스용 형광 부여재.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 툴륨 화합물을 0.01 내지 10중량% 더 포함하는 세라믹스용 형광 부여재.
- 제3항에 있어서, 툴륨 화합물이, 붕화툴륨(TmB6), 브롬화툴륨(TmBr3), 염화툴륨(TmCl3), 불화툴륨(TmF3), 수소화툴륨(TmH3), 요오드화툴륨(TmI3), 질산툴륨(Tm(NO3)3), 산화툴륨(Tm2O3), 수산화툴륨(Tm(OH)3)으로부터 선택되는 1종 또는 2종 이상인 세라믹스용 형광 부여재.
