Abstract

본 발명은, 침엽수 펄프(softwood pulp) 또는 활엽수 펄프(hardwood pulp) 유래의 식물성 섬유를, 가능하면 합성 섬유 및/또는 가능하면 유리 섬유와 함께 함유하는 접합 테이프용 부직포 기재(nonwoven substrate)에 관한 것으로, 침수처리(retting)에 의해 얻어진 아마 섬유(flax fibre)를 또한 함유하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 접합 테이프는 기재(substrate)를 포함한다.

Description

접합 테이프용 부직포 기재와, 치수 안정성이 있고 기계 강도를 잃지 않으면서 접힐 수 있으며 상기 기재를 포함하는 접합 테이프{NONWOVEN SUBSTRATE FOR JOINT TAPE AND JOINT TAPE THAT IS DIMENSIONALLY STABLE AND FOLDABLE WITHOUT LOSING MECHANICAL STRENGTH CONTAINING SAID SUBSTRATE}
본 발명의 요지는, 접합 테이프용 부직포 기재이다. 본 발명은 또한 상기 기재를 함유하는 접합 테이프에 관한 것으로, 상기 접합 테이프는 치수 안정성이 있고 기계 강도를 잃지 않으면서 접힐 수 있다.
공지된 방식에 있어서, 접합 테이프는 두 개의 패널, 특히 건식 벽(dry wall) 사이에 도포되어 연속성을 보장하도록 설계된다. 이러한 건식 벽 패널은 외부 또는 내부의 벽 및 천장에 이용할 수 있다. 이들은 습실, 예컨대 욕실이나 또는 건실에 도포될 수 있다.
여러 종류의 접합 테이프가 설명되었다.
먼저, 크래프트지 스트립으로 제조된 접합 테이프가 있다. 사실상, 사용자는 제 1층의 결합 화합물을 두 패널 사이 결합부에 도포하며, 그 위에 접합 테이프가 배치된다. 건조하는 동안 접합 테이프는 결합 화합물로부터 수분을 흡수하여 가로 방향으로, 길이 방향으로, 그리고 두께 방향으로 수축시킴으로써 균열을 형성한다. 따라서 모든 균열 위험성을 배제하기 위해서는 제 2층, 그리고 종종 제 3층의 결합 화합물이 도포되어야 한다.
가로 방향 및 길이 방향의 치수 안정성을 강화하기 위해, 유리 섬유 및 합성 섬유를 섬유 중량의 40중량%까지 또는 그 이상의 높은 비율로 종이 셀룰로오스 섬유와 배합하는 것이 제안되었다. 이러한 접합 테이프에는, 예를 들어, 문헌 WO2008/073206A1에 기재된 것이 포함된다. 이렇게 얻어진 부직포 기재는 계획한 용도에 만족한 것으로 간주된 치수 안정성을 갖는다. 그러나, 모서리에 이를 사용하는 것은, 기재에 포함된 유리 섬유가 테이프를 접고 스패츄라(spatula)를 사용하여 상기 접힘을 파단할 때 파단된다면, 어렵다.
부직포 유리 섬유 또는 유리 그물로 제조된 접합 테이프 기재도 널리 공지되어 있다. 전자는 낮은 파단 강도를 갖는다. 다른 한편, 후자는 높은 파단 강도를 갖지만, 도포 코팅 상에 균열 형성 위험성이 있다는 단점을 갖는다.
즉, 본 발명이 해결하기 위해 제안하는 문제는, 가로 방향, 길이 방향, 및 두께에서 치수 안정성이 있고, 접힘 전후 기계 강도가 최적인 접합 테이프를 개발하는 것이다.
이를 행하기 위해, 본 출원인은 선택적으로 합성 섬유 및/또는 선택적으로 유리 섬유의 존재 하에, 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유를 함유하는 접합 테이프용 기재를 개발하였다. 본질적 특징에 따르면, 부직포 기재는 또한 침수처리로 얻어진 아마 섬유를 함유한다.
침수처리로 얻어진 아마 섬유는 아마 펄프에서 유래되는 아마 섬유와 명확히 구분될 수 있다. 전자는 "직물 섬유" 또는 "비펄프화 섬유"로 부를 수 있는 반면, 후자는 "종이 섬유" 또는 "펄프 섬유"로 부를 수 있다. 침수처리 기법은 섬유를 펄프로 변환하기 전에 전체 식물에서 직접 회수하는데 이용되는 기법이다. 이들 섬유는 제지 공정 도중 펄프에서 얻어진 섬유에 비해 더 큰 지름 및 크기를 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 아마 섬유는 다듬어지거나 다듬어지지 않을 수 있다.
본 출원인은 실제로 매우 놀랍게도 기재 중 직물 아마 섬유의 존재가 접힘 후 가로 방향 및 길이 방향 파단 강도의 문제점을 해결한다는 것을 관찰하였다.
침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유는 원 섬유 또는 화학적 또는 기계적 종이 펄프 유래의 표백 섬유일 수 있다.
합성 섬유는 폴리에스테르, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리아미드, 폴리비닐 클로라이드, 폴리비닐 알코올, 아크릴 및 나일론 섬유를 포함하는 군으로부터 선택될 수 있다.
본 발명의 기재는 단층 기재, 2층 기재 또는 보다 크게는 다층 기재의 형태일 수 있다. 2층 기재를 사용하는 경우, 당업자에게 공지된 모든 기법으로, 특히 예비형성한 상부 및 하부 시트를 사이징 프레스를 통해 통과시켜 제조될 수 있다.
단층 기재를 사용하는 경우, 아마 섬유는 전체 섬유의 중량을 기준으로 30% 이상, 유리하게는 40% 내지 50%를 차지한다.
마찬가지로, 실제로 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유는 섬유 혼합물의 중량을 기준으로 30% 이상, 유리하게는 40% 이상을 차지한다.
이와 동시에, 합성 섬유를 사용할 때에는 이들은 유리하게는 섬유 혼합물의 중량을 기준으로 10% 이상을 차지한다.
다른 특징에 따라, 단층 기재의 질량은 50 내지 120 g/m2, 유리하게는 70 내지 100 g/m2이다.
2층 기재를 사용하는 경우, 섬유에 관해 상기 언급된 비율은 동일하지만, 하층만을 포함하는 섬유의 중량에 대한 것이다. 이러한 경우, 상부층을 포함하는 섬유는 바람직하게는 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유뿐이다. 상부층의 질량은 바람직하게는 5 내지 30 g/m2, 바람직하게는 10 내지 20 g/m2이다. 하부층의 질량은 바람직하게는 상기 언급된 단일층 기재의 질량값과 동일하다.
본 발명은, 치수 안정성이 있고 기계 강도를 잃지 않으면서 접힐 수 있는 접합 테이프용 부직포 기재를 제공하는 효과를 갖는다.
특정 실시예에서, 단층 기재는 다음 섬유 조성을 갖는다(섬유 중량 기준):
- 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 35 내지 45%
- 유리 섬유 25 내지 35%
- 직물 아마 섬유 25 내지 35%
다른 실시예에서, 2층 기재는 다음 섬유 조성을 갖는다(섬유 중량 기준):
하부층:
- 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 35 내지 45%
- 폴리에스테르 섬유 10 내지 20%
- 직물 아마 섬유 40 내지 50%
상부층:
- 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 100%
또 다른 실시예에서, 2층 기재는 다음 섬유 조성을 갖는다(섬유 중량 기준):
하부층:
- 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 35 내지 45%
- 유리 섬유 25 내지 35%
- 직물 아마 섬유 25 내지 35%
상부층:
- 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 100%
섬유는 물론 당업자에게 알려진 천연 또는 합성 결합제 중에서 선택된 결합제에 의해 함께 결합된다. 실제, 결합제는, 비닐 아세테이트, 비닐 알코올, 비닐 클로라이드, 아크릴산, 에틸 비닐 아세테이트, 에틸 비닐 클로라이드, 전분 및 전분 유도체를 포함하는 군으로부터 선택된다. 결합제는 기재에 15 내지 40 g/m2, 유리하게는 20 내지 30 g/m2으로 첨가된다.
본 발명은 또한 한 면에 접착층을 갖는 상술한 바와 같은 부직포 기재를 함유하는 접합 테이프에 대한 것이다.
본 발명 및 이것이 제공하는 이점은 다음 실시예의 예를 통해 더욱 잘 이해될 수 있다.
접합 테이프용 기재를 단층 및 2층 형태로 본 발명에 따라 제조하였다(시험 1 - 4). 기재의 기계 강도를 다음 시험에 따라 접힘 전후에 측정하였다:
샘플 접기
샘플을 먼저 엠보싱 기계의 100 mm × 20 mm 조오(jaw)에 넣었다; 금속 조오는 상승 플루트를 가지며, 편평한 조오는 테플론으로 코팅되어 있다. 샘플을 7초 동안 7 bar의 압력 하에 두었다. 플루트를 샘플 상에 세로 방향으로 위치시켰다. 다음으로, 엠보싱 면에 마주하는 면 상에서 두 면이 접히도록 샘플을 손으로 접었다. 다음으로, 샘플 상에 1 kg 롤러를 롤링하여 접힌 것을 편평하게 하였다. 두 면을 서로 완전히 편평하게 하기 위해서, 다른 10 kg 롤러를 접힘 위에 두 번 롤링하였다.
기계적인 측정
조오 사이에 20 mm 공간을 갖는 검력계(dynamometer)를 사용하였다. 샘플은 폭이 15 mm, 길이가 40 mm 이상이었다. 당기는 방향에 수직으로 접힌 것을 놓았다. 500 N 센서로 25 mm/분 당김이 가해지고, 장치는 kN/m 단위로 제공된 측정인 인장 강도를 기록하였다. 시험을 10회 반복하여 평균값뿐만 아니라 표준 편차를 계산하였다.
접힘 후 기계 강도는 25 lb/in의 값으로 시작하여 만족스러운 것으로 간주되었다.
모든 결과는 아래 표에서 확인할 수 있다: "Ref" 시험은, 아마 섬유를 함유하지 않는, 문헌 WO2008/073206A1에서 시험된 2층 종이, 참조 7136에 해당한다.

상기 표에 나타낸 바와 같이, 단층 또는 2층에 유리 섬유를 함유하거나 함유하지 않는 직물 아마 섬유의 존재는, 아마 섬유를 함유하지 않는 Ref 종이에 비해 접힘 후 만족스러운 기계 강도를 제공한다.

Claims (10)

  1. 침엽수 펄프(softwood pulp) 또는 활엽수 펄프(hardwood pulp) 유래의 식물성 섬유를, 가능하면 합성 섬유 및/또는 가능하면 유리 섬유와 함께 함유하는 접합 테이프용 부직포 기재(nonwoven substrate)에 있어서,
    침수처리(retting)에 의해 얻어진 아마 섬유(flax fibre)를 또한 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 아마 섬유는 전체 섬유의 중량을 기준으로 30% 이상을 차지하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  3. 제 1항에 있어서, 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 상기 식물성 섬유는 전체 섬유의 중량을 기준으로 30% 이상, 유리하게는 40% 이상을 차지하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  4. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 합성 섬유는 유리하게는 전체 섬유의 중량을 기준으로 10% 이상을 차지하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  5. 제 1항에 있어서, 단일층을 갖고, 질량이 50 내지 120 g/m2, 유리하게는 70 내지 100 g/m2인 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  6. 제 1항에 있어서, 두 개의 층을 갖고, 상부층의 섬유는 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유만을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  7. 제 1항에 있어서, 다음 섬유 조성(섬유 중량 기준), 즉,
    하부층:
    - 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 35 내지 45%
    - 폴리에스테르 섬유 10 내지 20%
    - 직물 아마 섬유 40 내지 50%
    상부층:
    - 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 100%를
    갖는 2개의 층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  8. 제 1항에 있어서, 다음 섬유 조성(섬유 중량 기준), 즉,
    하부층:
    - 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 35 내지 45%
    - 유리 섬유 25 내지 35%
    - 직물 아마 섬유 25 내지 35%
    상부층:
    - 침엽수 펄프 또는 활엽수 펄프 유래의 식물성 섬유 100%를
    갖는 2개의 층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  9. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 섬유는 15 내지 40 g/m2, 유리하게는 20 내지 40 g/m2로 첨가된 결합제에 의해 함께 결합된 것을 특징으로 하는, 부직포 기재.
  10. 한 면에 접착층을 갖고, 제 1항 내지 제 9항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 부직포 기재를 함유하는 접합 테이프(joint tape).
