Description

Shampoo composition for anti-dandruff

The present invention relates to an anti-dandruff hair cleaning composition, and more particularly, to a shampoo composition containing an alkyl sulfate surfactant neutralized with zinc to improve scalp safety and antidandruff.

Hair, and normal shampoo used to decontaminate and clean and beautifully maintained of the scalp is the detergent contains as a main component a high anionic surfactant, typically taking place well the bubble washing power strong sodium (Na +) or ammonium (NH 4 + ) anionic alkyl sulfate surfactant neutralized with

However, cleaning products such as shampoos using such anionic alkyl sulfate surfactants have high irritation to the skin due to the strong detergency and degreasing power.

On the other hand, in recent years, people with scalp problems such as dandruff and scalp itch have gradually increased due to various factors such as physical, chemical and environmental, and various attempts have been made to solve this problem. Products that add additional ingredients such as prevention, antibacterial, scalp irritation, and itching prevention, or which are used before or after the use of shampoo products have been studied.

However, in the case of a cleaning product such as a shampoo, the characteristic of the cleaning agent is strong, so that the effective amount of the adsorption to the hair or the scalp is substantially low, and thus the effect and the sustainability were limited.

Accordingly, the present inventors studied hair cosmetic composition having excellent cleaning power while having low irritation to the scalp and having excellent antibacterial activity, and neutralizing alkyl sulfate with a divalent zinc compound having excellent antimicrobial activity provided excellent antibacterial activity as well as cleaning ability. Eggplant can make a surfactant, and the use of an anionic alkyl sulfate surfactant neutralized with zinc was found to have low skin irritation and completed the present invention.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a shampoo composition having excellent antidandruff and low irritation to the scalp.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a shampoo composition containing anionic alkyl sulfate neutralized with zinc as a surfactant.

The shampoo composition of the present invention contains an anionic alkyl sulphate surfactant neutralized with zinc, which is significantly smaller in stimulation to the scalp than the general anionic surfactant, and has an antibacterial effect, which is effective in preventing dandruff and improving symptoms.

The shampoo composition of the present invention contains anionic alkyl sulfate neutralized with zinc as a surfactant.

The anionic alkyl sulfate neutralized with zinc (zink cosulfate) is shown in the following formula (1).

The anionic alkyl sulfate neutralized with zinc is preferably contained in an amount of 5.0 to 50.0% by weight based on the total weight of the composition. If the content of the anionic alkyl sulfate neutralized with zinc is less than 5.0% by weight, the anti-dandruff effect is weak. If the content of the anionic alkyl sulfate neutralized with zinc is greater than 50.0% by weight, the cationic counter ion balance is broken in the formulation, thereby inhibiting stability.

In addition, the present invention can be used together with the anionic surfactants commonly used in addition to the anionic alkyl sulfate neutralized with zinc to improve the foaming power of the shampoo and increase the effect, specifically ammonium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl Sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, etc. can be used together. The amount of the commonly used anionic surfactant is suitably 1.0 to 50.0% by weight based on the total weight of the composition in consideration of the usability and stability of the formulation.

As the optional component used in the composition of the present invention, various components conventionally used in the industry to maintain the basic properties and quality of the composition may be used in combination with the composition of the present invention. Can be easily selected. Specifically, in addition to the above-mentioned surfactant, it may contain preservatives, thickeners and viscosity regulators, pH regulators, fragrances, dyes, hair conditioning agents and the like.

The composition of the present invention can be used according to a conventional method of use, and the frequency and amount of use may vary depending on the user's scalp state or taste.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to Examples and Test Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.

[Test Example 1] Antibacterial activity comparison test (MIC test)

Anionic alkyl sulphate neutralized with zinc, which is a surfactant used in the present invention, (ink process sulfate) and ammonium laures sulfate (Formula 2) and an ammonium lauryl sulfate (Formula 3), which are anionic surfactants commonly used in shampoos The antimicrobial activity was compared through the MIC test.

In order to measure the antimicrobial activity, the minimum growth inhibition concentration (MIC) of the strain was measured by the liquid medium dilution method. Phytirosporum obale (= Malassezia furfur ) ( Pytirosporum ovale ATCC 12087) was used for the experiment. Specifically, after diluting and adding the antimicrobial samples to the liquid medium by inoculation, the inoculation and incubation of the bacterial solution was evaluated using the turbidity of the medium for the proliferation of test bacteria. At this time, when the medium used had turbidity, it was evaluated using a microscope.

The test results are shown in Table 1 below.

Sample Name Zinc Process Sulfate Ammonium laureth sulfate
(Non-preservative)
Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate
(Non-preservative)
Malassezia furfur 0.625% 20% 5%

Looking at Table 1, it can be seen that the concentration of the strain in the case of using the zinc process sulphate used in the present invention is the lowest, the surfactant of the present invention is superior to the anionic surfactant conventionally used.

Test Example 2 Anti-dandruff force evaluation

Anti-dandruff of Comparative Example 1 and Examples 1 to 3 prepared by formulating zinc curses sulfate in amounts of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 28%, respectively, in the formulated shampoo of zinc pyrithione as in the reference example. Force was compared. At this time, the test strain was Malassezia furfur (ATCC 12078) was used.

Antibacterial activity was measured by the skin disk diffusion method. The skin disc diffusion method (SDDM) is a method that is closest to a consumer's habit of use, and is a method of measuring antimicrobial activity on guinea pig skin similar to human skin.

Specifically, after peeling off the guinea pig skin (70% ethanol treatment) to uniformly dry by using a ethanol, the cut skin disk was used to cut to a certain size. The sterilized skin discs were soaked in dilute shampoo solution for 3 minutes and then washed with running water. Then, the skin disk was placed on a solid medium inoculated with the test bacteria and then cultured. After incubation, the relative antimicrobial activity was measured by measuring the size of the clear zone in which the growth of bacteria was suppressed.

Test results are shown in Table 3 and FIG. 1.

Referring to Table 3 and FIG. 1, 5% (Example 1), 10% (Example 2), and 28% (Example) of zinc process sulfate were compared with shampoos containing no zinc process sulfate (Comparative Example 1). 3) In the case of the shampoo containing the anti-dandruff effect, and also the anti-dandruff power is improved as the content of zinc corse sulfate increases.

Test Example 3 Skin Irritation Test

The skin irritation test of the anionic surfactant component was carried out as follows.

The study was conducted on 39 healthy adult women aged 21-59 years (mean age 42.1 years). Nursing mothers or those taking contraceptives or antihistamines were excluded before testing. Ammonium laureth sulfate or zinc cossulfate was applied to the dorsal area by the closed patch test method in an amount of 20 μl per chamber (IQ chamber). The reaction test was conducted at 24 and 48 hours after patching, as shown in Table 4, a test standard modified from CTFA guidelines (1981) and Frosch & Kligman (1979). The results are shown in Table 5 below. In Table 5, +1 to +4 represent the degree of stimulation observed with the naked eye, and the numerical value represents the number of people who responded to the stimulus. Average score was calculated through the following equation (1).
