Claims (4)
- 기록해야 할 데이터를 변조하여, 복수의 기록 변조 부호를 생성하는 단계와, 펄스 형상의 광빔을 데이터 기록 매체에 조사함으로써, 상기 기록 변조 부호에 의해 규정되는 길이의 복수의 기록 마크 및 스페이스를 상기 데이터 기록 매체에 기록하는 단계를 포함하는 기록 방법으로서,
상기 복수의 기록 마크 중 적어도 2개는,
선두에 배치되고, 상기 기록 마크의 리딩 에지(始端, leading edge) 부분을 형성하기 위한 퍼스트 펄스와,
최후미에 배치되고, 상기 기록 마크의 트레일링 에지(終端, trailing edge) 부분을 형성하기 위한 라스트 펄스와,
상기 퍼스트 펄스 및 상기 라스트 펄스 사이에 배치되고, 상기 기록 마크의 중앙부를 형성하기 위한 멀티 펄스 열(列)
을 포함하며,
상기 멀티 펄스 열은, 상기 기록 변조 부호의 기준 주기 T보다 긴 펄스 주기를 갖고,
상기 기록 마크의 각각에 있어서의 펄스의 수는, 기록 마크가 길이에 있어서 2T 증가함에 따라 1개 증가하고 있고,
상기 복수의 기록 마크의 각각은 서로, T 또는 그 배수배 상이한 길이를 갖고,
최단의 기록 마크 및 그 다음 최단의 기록 마크는 각각 하나의 펄스에 의해 구성되어 있고,
2 이상의 펄스에 의해서 구성되는 기록 마크에 있어서, 소정의 길이를 갖는 기록 마크의 퍼스트 펄스의 폭은, 모두, 그 소정의 길이보다 2T 긴 기록 마크의 퍼스트 펄스의 폭과 같고,
n번째(n은 3 이상의 홀수)로 짧은 기록 마크의 라스트 펄스 상승 타이밍과 n+1번째로 짧은 기록 마크의 라스트 펄스 상승 타이밍은 서로 0.5T 상이하고,
n+1번째로 짧은 기록 마크의 라스트 펄스 상승 타이밍과 n+2번째로 짧은 기록 마크의 라스트 펄스 상승 타이밍은 서로 1.5T 상이한
기록 방법.
- 펄스 형상의 광빔을 데이터 기록 매체에 조사함으로써, 소정의 변조 방법에 의해 규정되는 길이의 복수의 기록 마크 및 스페이스를 형성하는 기록 영역을 구비한 데이터 기록 매체로서,
상기 복수의 기록 마크 중 적어도 2개는,
선두에 배치되고, 상기 기록 마크의 리딩 에지 부분을 형성하기 위한 퍼스트 펄스와,
최후미에 배치되고, 상기 기록 마크의 트레일링 에지 부분을 형성하기 위한 라스트 펄스와,
상기 퍼스트 펄스 및 상기 라스트 펄스 사이에 배치되고, 상기 기록 마크의 중앙부를 형성하기 위한 멀티 펄스 열
을 포함하되,
상기 멀티 펄스 열은, 기록 변조 부호의 기준 주기 T보다 긴 펄스 주기를 갖고,
상기 기록 마크의 각각에 있어서의 펄스의 수는, 기록 마크가 길이에 있어서 2T 증가함에 따라 1개 증가하고 있고,
상기 복수의 기록 마크의 각각은 서로, T 또는 그 배수배 상이한 길이를 갖고,
최단의 기록 마크 및 그 다음 최단의 기록 마크는 각각 하나의 펄스에 의해 구성되어 있고,
2 이상의 펄스에 의해서 구성되는 기록 마크에 있어서, 소정의 길이를 갖는 기록 마크의 퍼스트 펄스의 폭은, 모두, 그 소정의 길이보다 2T 긴 기록 마크의 퍼스트 펄스의 폭과 같고,

- 청구항 2에 기재된 데이터 기록 매체를 재생하는 방법으로서,
상기 기록 영역에 광빔을 조사함으로써, 상기 기록 마크를 재생하는 단계를 갖는 재생 방법.
- 청구항 2에 기재된 데이터 기록 매체를 제조하기 위한 방법, 또는 상기 방법을 실행하기 위한 프로그램, 또는 상기 방법을 실현하기 위한 제조 설비.
