A cosmetic composition comprising the extract of Rhodotus palmatus cultured broth medium is provided to promote growth of fibroblasts and increase the amount of collagen produced from the fibroblasts, so that the composition is useful to improve skin wrinkles. A cosmetic composition for improving skin wrinkles comprises 0.01-10 wt.% of the extract of Rhodotus palmatus cultured broth medium which is prepared by homogenizing the Rhodotus palmatus cultured broth medium, adding 40% ethanol into the homogenized Rhodotus palmatus cultured broth medium, agitating the mixture at room temperature to 40 deg.
