Claims (5)
- 하나 이상의 경사면과 하나 이상의 여유면을 가지는 일반적으로 다각형 또는 둥근 형상의 본체를 포함하는 코팅된 초경 합금제 절삭 공구 인서트로서,상기 인서트는 8.5 ~ 11.5, 바람직하게는 9.3 ~ 10.7, 가장 바람직하게는 9.3 ~ 10.4 중량% Co, 6 ~ 10 중량% 입방 탄질화물 (cubic carbonitride), 잔부 WC, 0.77 ~ 0.90, 바람직하게는 0.78 ~ 0.88, 가장 바람직하게는 0.80 ~ 0.84 의 CW-비의 조성을 갖고, 또한 입방 탄질화물상이 고갈된 10 ~ 35 ㎛, 바람직하게는 15 ~ 25 ㎛ 두께의 표면 구역을 가지며, 상기 인서트는 하나 이상의 TiCxNy 층 (여기서, x≥0, y≥0 및 x+y=1), 바람직하게는 MTCVD 에 의해 증착된 TiCxNy 층과 적어도 상기 경사면 상의 외층인 α-Al2O3 층을 포함하는 두께 10 ~ 25 ㎛ 의 코팅에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 코팅되며,상기 적어도 하나 이상의 경사면에서,- TiCxNy 층은 5 ~ 15 ㎛, 바람직하게는 6 ~ 13 ㎛, 가장 바람직하게는 7 ~ 13 ㎛ 의 두께와 50 ~ 390 ㎫, 바람직하게는 50 ~ 300 ㎫ 의 인장 응력 레벨을 갖고,- α-Al2O3 층은 3 ~ 12 ㎛, 바람직하게는 3.5 ~ 8 ㎛, 가장 바람직하게는 4 ~ 8 ㎛ 의 두께를 갖고, I(012) / I(024) ≥ 1.3, 바람직하게는 ≥ 1.5 의 XRD (X-Ray 회절) -회절 강도비 및 AFM-기술에 의해 무작위로 선정된 10 개의 10 × 10 ㎛2 영역에서 측정했을 때 적어도 경사면 상의 칩 접촉 구역에서 평균 Ra 값 MRa ≤ 0.12 ㎛, 바람직하게는 ≤ 0.10 ㎛ 을 갖는 최외층이며,상기 여유면에서,- TiCxNy 층은 500 ~ 700 ㎫ 범위의 인장 응력을 갖고,- α-Al2O3 층은 I(012) / I(024) < 1.5 의 XRD-회절 강도비를 갖고, 또한 여유면에서 인서트에 상이한 색을 부여하는 0.1 ~ 2 ㎛ 의 얇은 두께의 TiN, TiCxNy, ZrCxNy, 또는 TiC 층으로 바람직하게 덮여 있고,또는 하나 이상의 경사면 및 하나 이상의 여유면에서,- TiCxNy 층은 5 ~ 15 ㎛, 바람직하게는 6 ~ 13 ㎛, 가장 바람직하게는 7 ~ 13 ㎛ 의 두께를 갖고, 50 ~ 390 ㎫, 바람직하게는 50 ~ 300 ㎫ 의 인장 응력 레벨을 갖고,- α-Al2O3 층은 3 ~ 12 ㎛, 바람직하게는 3.5 ~ 8 ㎛, 바람직하게는 4 ~ 8 ㎛ 의 두께를 갖고, I(012) / I(024) ≥ 1.3, 바람직하게는 ≥ 1.5 의 XRD-회절 강도비를 가지며, 또한 AFM-기술에 의해 무작위로 선정된 10 개의 10 × 10 ㎛2 영역에서 측정했을 때 적어도 경사면 상의 칩 접촉 구역에서 평균 Ra 값 MRa ≤ 0.12 ㎛, 바람직하게는 ≤ 0.10 ㎛ 을 갖는 경사면 상의 최외층이고, 여유면에서 상부층은 유색 내열 페인트 또는 유색 PVD 층으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공 구 인서트.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 TiCxNy 층과 상기 α-Al2O3 층 사이에서, 0.2 ~ 2 ㎛ 의 얇은 TiCxNyOz 결합층 (여기서, x≥0, z〉0 및 y≥0) 을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 인서트.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 α-Al2O3 층은 012 방향 집합 조직의 집합 조직 계수가 TC(012) > 1.3, 바람직하게는 TC(012) > 1.5 인 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 인서트.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 α-Al2O3 층은 110 방향 집합 조직의 집합 조직 계수가 TC(110) > 1.5 인 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 인서트.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 코팅은, Ti, Nb, Hf, V, Ta, Mo, Zr, Cr, W 및 Al 로부터 선택된 금속 원소를 가지는 금속 질화물 및/또는 탄화물 및/또는 산화물로 구성된 추가의 층을 총 층두께 5 ㎛ 미만으로 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 인서트.
