Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 분리막(separator); 및상기 분리막 상에 배치된 전도층(conductive layer);을 포함하며, 상기 전도층은 배터리의 전극과 접촉함으로써 전류가 상기 전극으로 흘러들어가는 길과 상기 전극으로부터 흘러나오는 길을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리의 수명을 연장하기 위한 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 상기 배터리의 양극과 접촉하도록 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 상기 배터리의 전극 전도체(electrode conductor)보다 내식성(corrosion resistant)이 강하도록 형성됨으로써, 상기 전극 전도체의 전도성(conductive capability)이 열화(deteriorate)된 경우 상기 전도층이 상기 전극 전도체로서의 기능을 수행할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 상기 배터리의 양극 전도체(positive electrode conductor)보 다 내식성이 강하도록 형성됨으로써, 상기 양극 전도체의 전도성이 열화된 경우 상기 전도층이 상기 양극 전도체로서의 기능을 수행할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 전도성 물질로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 전도성 물질은 납(lead), 금(gold), 안티몬(antimony), 비소(arsenic), 아연(zinc), 바륨(barium), 베릴륨(beryllium), 리튬(lithium), 마그네슘(magnesium), 니켈(nickel), 알루미늄(aluminium), 은(silver), 주석(tin) 및 이들의 조합으로 형성된 합금(alloy)으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 전도성 물질은 탄소 섬유(carbon fibers), 흑연(graphite), 탄소 나노튜브(carbon nanotubes) 및 버키볼(buckyballs)로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 띠(strip) 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 스크린(screen) 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 포일(foil) 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 실(thread) 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 와이어(wire) 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 코팅된 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 상기 분리막 상에 접착제로 상기 분리막과 결합되어 상기 분리막 상에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 상기 분리막 상에 상기 전도층이 핫 멜팅(hot melting)되어 상기 분리막 상에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 상기 분리막 상에 상기 전도층이 페인팅(painting)되어 상기 분리막 상에 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 분리막은 늑골(rib) 형태를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제17항에 있어서,상기 전도층은 상기 늑골의 팁(tip) 부위 상에 페인트되어 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 배터리 분리막은 납축 전지(lead-acid battery)에 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
- 팁 부위들이 있는 늑골 형태를 갖는 분리막(a separator having ribs with tips); 및상기 분리막에 배치된 전도층(a conductive layer being disposed upon said separator);을 포함하는 배터리의 수명을 연장하기 위한 배터리 분리막으로서,상기 전도층은 상기 팁 부위 상에 은 입자들이 분산된 용매가 페인트 되어 형성되며, 상기 전도층은 배터리의 양극과 접촉하도록 형성됨으로써 상기 양극으로 흘러들어가는 전류와 상기 양극으로부터 흘러나오는 전류에 길을 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 분리막.
