Claims (4)
- 서로 전기적으로 연결된 복수의 LED를 포함하는 LED 어레이;전원전압에 의해 동작하며, 소정 주파수의 톱니파 전압을 생성하여 출력하는 RT/CT 단자와, 상기 톱니파 전압과 비교되는 비교전압이 입력되는 COMP 단자와, 상기 톱니파 전압이 상기 비교전압의 레벨보다 높은 구간에 오프되고 상기 톱니파 전압이 상기 비교전압의 레벨보다 낮은 구간에서 온되는 펄스 신호를 생성하여 출력하는 출력단자를 갖는 PWM IC;상기 PWM IC에서 출력되는 상기 펄스 신호에 따라 외부로부터 입력된 직류전압을 스위칭하여 상기 LED 어레이에 구동전압으로 제공하는 스위칭부;상기 LED 어레이의 양단 전압에 해당하는 검출전압을 생성하는 전압검출부;상기 검출전압과 기 설정된 기준전압을 비교하여 그 차이에 해당하는 제1 오차전압을 출력하는 전압비교부; 및상기 오차전압이 소정 레벨 이하일 경우 상기 PWM IC의 상기 COMP 단자에 입력되는 상기 비교전압을 실질적으로 0V로 설정하는 비교전압 설정부를 포함하는 LED 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전압비교부는,상기 검출전압을 반전 입력단으로 입력 받으며, 상기 기준전압을 비반전 입 력단으로 입력 받아 두 입력단의 차이에 해당하는 오차전압을 출력하는 제1 OP 앰프를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 구동장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 비교전압 설정부는,상기 제1 OP 앰프의 출력단에 캐소드가 연결된 제1 다이오드;상기 전원전압에 일단이 연결되며 상기 제1 다이오드의 애노드에 타단이 연결된 리지스터;상기 제1 다이오드의 애노드에 비반전 입력단이 연결되며, 비반전 입력단과 출력단이 전기적으로 연결되어 비반전 입력단의 입력 전압과 동일한 레벨의 출력을 갖는 제2 OP 앰프; 및상기 제2 OP 앰프의 출력단에 베이스가 연결되고, 상기 PWM IC의 COMP 단자에 에미터가 연결되고, 접지에 콜렉터가 연결된 PNP 트랜지스터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 구동장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 LED 구동장치는, 외부로부터 입력되는 선형 디밍 신호 또는/및 PWM 디밍 신호에 상응하는 레벨의 전압을 비반전 입력단으로 입력받고, 상기 LED 어레이의 캐소드단으로부터 출력되는 전류에 상응하는 레벨의 전압을 반전 입력단으로 입 력받으며, 상기 두 입력단에 입력되는 전압의 레벨을 비교하여 그 차이에 해당하는 제2 오차 전압을 출력단으로 출력하는 제3 OP 앰프를 더 포함하며,상기 비교전압 설정부는, 상기 제3 OP 앰프의 출력단에 캐소드가 연결되며 상기 제1 다이오드의 애노드에 애노드가 연결된 제2 다이오드를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 구동장치.
