Description
Claims (8)
- 단일 베이스의 일평면의에 R LED 칩,G LED 칩 및 B LED칩 중 적어도 2개 이상의 색을 갖는 다수개의 LED 칩을 매트릭상으로 배열하여 면광원을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 면광원.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 LED 칩은, 투명기판상에 적층된 LED p층과, 상기 LED p층의 일부 절개부에 적층된 LED 활성층과, 상기 LED 활성층 위에 상기 LED p층의 잔여부분과 동일 높이로 적층된 LED n층과, 상기 LED p층 및 LED n층에 각각 형성된 양전극 및 음전극과, 상기 양전극 및 음전극 위에 적층된 반사층과, 상기 반사층 내에 형성된 상기 양전극과 음전극과의 전기신호라인과, LED 칩으로부터 출사하는 광을 소정 각도 이내의 반사시키는 반사경을 구비하여 이루어지는 LED 면광원.
- 일평면상에 복수의 R,G,B LED 칩을 매트릭상으로 배열하여 면광원을 형성한 LED 면광원과,상기 LED 면광원에 발광된 광의 방사각을 줄임과 동시에 균일한 광분포로 집속시키는 광집속 조명계와,상기 LED 면광원의 R,G,B 광을 각각의 해당 영상색신호로 동기시킴과 동시에 각각의 광량을 영상신호로 변조하여 컬러영상을 생성하는 컬러영상 생성수단과,상기 컬러영상 생성수단으로부터 출력되는 광을 투사확대하여 스크린에 공급하는 투사 광학계를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 투사표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 LED 면광원은, 투명기판상에 적층된 LED p층과, 상기 LED p층의 일부 절개부에 적층된 LED 활성층과, 상기 LED 활성층 위에 상기 LED p층의 잔여부분과 동일 높이로 적층된 LED n층과, 상기 LED p층 및 LED n층에 각각 형성된 양전극 및 음전극과, 상기 양전극 및 음전극 위에 적층된 반사층과, 상기 반사층 내에 형성된 상기 양전극과 음전극과의 전기신호라인과, LED 칩으로부터 출사하는 광을 소정 각도 이내의 반사시키는 반사경을 구비하여 이루어지는 투사표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 LED 면광원의 R,G,B LED 칩은 상기 DMD에서의 해당 색의 영상색신호에 동기되어 온/오프되도록 한 투사표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 광집속 조명계는 입사되는 광을 소정의 방사각으로 줄이면서 집속시키는 회절렌즈와, 광의 밝기 분포를 균일하게 하는 로드렌즈와, 입사되는 광을 모아 출사시키는 조명렌즈로 구성되는 투사표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 LED 면광원은, 상기 회절렌즈(DOE)를 개재하여 로드렌즈에 밀착되게 접합되어 있는 투사표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 컬러영상 생성수단은 TIR프리즘과 DMD로 형성되는 투사표시장치.
