Claims (16)
- 데이터를 저장하기 위한 기록매체로서,상기 기록매체는,비디오 스트림과 그래픽스 스트림을 다중화함으로써 구성되는 디지털 스트림을 포함하며,상기 비디오 스트림은 다수의 픽처(picture)로 이루어진 영화를 표시하며,상기 그래픽스 스트림은,상기 픽처와 조합되는 그래픽스(graphics)를 표시하는 그래픽스 데이터; 및그 안에 상기 그래픽스를 렌더링(rendering)하기 위한 윈도우를 지정하는 윈도우 정보를 포함하고,상기 윈도우 정보는, 상기 그래픽스를 상기 픽처와 조합하는 재생장치의 플레인 메모리(plane memory)인 플레인 상에 상기 윈도우의 폭, 높이 및 위치를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록매체.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 윈도우의 폭과 높이는 상기 윈도우의 크기가 상기 플레인의 1/x 이도록 설정되고, 상기 플레인은 각 픽처의 크기에 대응하고 x는 윈도우 갱신 속도와 픽처 표시 속도 사이의 비율에 기초한 실수(real number)인 것을 특징으로 하는 기록매체.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 상기 그래픽스 데이터를 디코딩함으로서 취득되는 그래픽스 오브젝트 내 크로핑 프레임(cropping frame)을 지정하는 크롭(crop) 정보를 포함하는 제어 정보를 포함하며,상기 윈도우에 렌더링되는 상기 그래픽스는 상기 크로핑 프레임 내 상기 그래픽스 오브젝트의 일부인 것을 특징으로 하는 기록매체.
- 청구항 3에 있어서,상기 제어 정보는 상기 크로핑 프레임 내 상기 그래픽스 오브젝트의 일부를 렌더링하기 위한 상기 윈도우의 위치를 지정하는 위치 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록매체.
- 청구항 4에 있어서,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 스크롤(scroll), 와이프-인(wipe-in), 와이프-아웃(wipe-out), 컷-인(cut-in), 및 컷-아웃(cut-out) 표시 효과 중의 하나를 구현하기 위한 다수의 제어 정보 부분을 포함하며,상기 제어 정보 부분 각각은 서로 다른 크로핑 프레임과 위치를 각각 지정하는 상기 크롭 정보와 상기 위치 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록매체.
- 비디오 스트림과 그래픽스 스트림을 다중화함으로써 구성되는 디지털 스트림을 재생하는데 사용되는 재생장치로서,상기 재생장치는,다수의 픽처로 이루어진 영화를 취득하도록 상기 비디오 스트림을 디코드하는 비디오 디코더;상기 픽처와 동기하여 표시되도록 그래픽스를 렌더링하는 그래픽스 디코더; 및플레인에 대응하고, 상기 그래픽스를 상기 픽처와 조합하는데 사용되는 플레인 메모리를 포함하며,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 상기 플레인의 일부를 그 안에 상기 그래픽스를 렌더링하기 위한 윈도우로 지정하는 윈도우 정보를 포함하고,상기 그래픽스 디코더에 의한 상기 그래픽스의 렌더링은 상기 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우의 그래픽스의 소거와, 상기 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우에 상기 그래픽스의 기입을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생장치.
- 청구항 6에 있어서,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 압축된 그래픽스 데이터를 포함하며,상기 그래픽스 디코더는 상기 압축된 그래픽스 데이터를 디코드하는 프로세서와, 상기 소거 동작과 상기 기입 동작을 수행하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생장치.
- 청구항 7에 있어서,상기 윈도우의 크기는 상기 플레인의 1/x 이도록 설정되고, x는 윈도우 갱신 속도와 픽처 표시 속도 사이의 비율에 기초한 실수이며,상기 제어부에 의해 수행되는 상기 기록 동작은 상기 윈도우의 갱신 속도와 상기 윈도우의 크기에 기초한 전송 속도로 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생장치.
- 청구항 7에 있어서,상기 그래픽스 디코더는 상기 프로세서에 의해 디코드되는 압축해제된 그래픽스 데이터를 저장하는 오브젝트 버퍼를 포함하고,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 상기 그래픽스 데이터를 디코딩함으로서 취득되는 그래픽스 오브젝트 내 크로핑 프레임을 지정하는 크롭 정보를 포함하는 제어 정보를 포함하고,상기 제어부는 상기 크로핑 프레임 내 상기 그래픽스 오브젝트의 일부를 크롭하며,상기 픽처와 동기하여 표시되는 상기 그래픽스는 상기 크로핑 프레임 내 상기 그래픽스 오브젝트의 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 재생장치.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 제어 정보는 상기 크로핑 프레임 내 상기 부분을 렌더링하기 위한 상기 윈도우의 위치를 지정하는 위치 정보를 포함하며,상기 크로핑 프레임 내 상기 부분은 상기 위치 정보가 지정한 상기 위치에서 상기 윈도우에 기입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생장치.
- 청구항 10에 있어서,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 다수의 제어 정보 부분을 포함하고,상기 제어 정보의 각 부분에서 상기 크롭 정보와 상기 위치 정보가 지시하는 상기 크롭 부분과 상기 위치는 각각 다르며,상기 제어부는, 상기 제어 정보의 각 부분의 상기 크롭 정보와 상기 위치 정보에 기초하여 상기 소거와 상기 그래픽스의 기입을 수행함으로써 스크롤, 와이프-인, 와이프-아웃, 컷-인, 및 컷-아웃 표시 효과 중의 하나를 구현하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생장치.
- 청구항 6에 있어서,이중 버퍼를 구성하는 2개의 플레인 메모리를 더 포함하며, 상기 그래픽스는, 상기 표시된 그래픽스를 상기 이중 버퍼내 상기 플레인 메모리의 하나에 저장된 내용으로부터 상기 플레인 메모리의 다른 하나에 저장된 내용으로 스위칭함으로써 표시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생장치.
- 기록매체에 저장하는 방법으로서,상기 저장방법은,어플리케이션 데이터를 제작하는 단계; 및상기 제작된 어플리케이션 데이터를 상기 기록매체에 저장하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 어플리케이션 데이터는 비디오 스트림과 그래픽스 스트림을 다중화함으로써 구성되는 디지털 스트림을 포함하고,상기 비디오 스트림은 다수의 픽처로 이루어진 영화를 표시하고,상기 그래픽스 스트림은,상기 픽처와 조합되는 그래픽스를 표시하는 그래픽스 데이터; 및그 안에 상기 그래픽스를 렌더링하기 위한 윈도우를 지정하는 윈도우 정보를 포함하고,상기 윈도우 정보는, 상기 그래픽스를 상기 픽처와 조합하는 재생장치의 플레인 메모리(plane memory)인 플레인 상에 상기 윈도우의 폭, 높이 및 위치를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 비디오 스트림과 그래픽스 스트림을 다중화함으로써 구성되는 디지털 스트림을 컴퓨터로 하여금 재생하도록 하는데 사용되는 프로그램으로서,상기 프로그램은,다수의 픽처로 이루어진 영화를 취득하도록 상기 비디오 스트림을 상기 컴퓨터로 하여금 디코드하도록 하는 코드; 및상기 픽처와 동기하여 표시되도록 상기 컴퓨터로 하여금 그래픽스를 렌더링하도록 하는 코드를 포함하며,상기 컴퓨터가 상기 그래픽스를 렌더링하도록 하는 상기 코드는, 상기 그래픽스와 픽처를 조합하는데 사용되는 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우의 그래픽스의 소거와 상기 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우에 상기 그래픽스의 기입을 상기 컴퓨터가 수행하도록 하는 코드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램.
- 비디오 스트림과 그래픽스 스트림을 다중화함으로써 구성되는 디지털 스트림을 재생하는 방법으로서,상기 방법은,다수의 픽처로 이루어진 영화를 취득하도록 상기 비디오 스트림을 디코딩하는 단계; 및상기 픽처와 동기하여 표시되도록 그래픽스를 렌더링하는 단계를 포함하며,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 상기 플레인의 일부를 그 안에 상기 그래픽스를 렌더링하기 위한 윈도우로 지정하는 윈도우 정보를 포함하고,상기 그래픽스의 렌더링은 상기 그래픽스를 상기 픽처와 조합하는데 사용되는 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우의 그래픽스의 소거와, 상기 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우에 상기 그래픽스의 기입을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 재생방법.
- 비디오 스트림과 그래픽스 스트림을 다중화함으로써 구성되는 디지털 스트림을 재생하는데 사용되는 집적회로로서,상기 집적회로는,다수의 픽처로 이루어진 영화를 취득하도록 상기 비디오 스트림을 디코드하는 비디오 디코더;상기 픽처와 동기하여 표시되도록 그래픽스를 렌더링하는 그래픽스 디코더; 및플레인에 대응하고, 상기 그래픽스를 상기 픽처와 조합하는데 사용되는 플레인 메모리를 포함하며,상기 그래픽스 스트림은 상기 플레인의 일부를 그 안에 상기 그래픽스를 렌더링하기 위한 윈도우로 지정하는 윈도우 정보를 포함하고,상기 그래픽스 디코더에 의한 상기 그래픽스의 렌더링은 상기 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우의 그래픽스의 소거와, 상기 플레인 메모리 내 상기 윈도우에 상기 그래픽스의 기입을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 집적회로.
