Claims (3)
- 참조 화상으로부터 생성된 예측 화상을 이용하여 부호화 신호를 복호화하는 화상 복호화 방법에 있어서,상기 예측 화상의 생성에는, 상기 참조 화상의 소수 위치 화소에 대한 화소값을, 상기 소수 위치 화소의 주변에 위치하는 복수의 정수 위치 화소의 화소값으로부터 화소 보간에 의해 구하는 화소 보간 방법이 이용되고 있고,N개의 화소를 이용하여 하나의 보간 화소를 생성하는 필터 처리에 있어서, N의 수가 상이한 복수의 상기 필터 처리를 가지는 화소 보간 방법으로부터 하나의 화소 보간 방법을 선택하는 선택 단계와,선택된 화소 보간 방법을 이용하여 상기 참조 화상으로부터 상기 예측 화상을 생성하는 예측 화상 생성 단계와,상기 예측 화상을 이용하여 상기 부호화 신호를 복호화하는 복호화 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 복호화 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소 보간 방법은 프레임마다 선택되고, 상기 화소 보간 방법의 선택은 부호화 신호로써 프레임 헤더 중에 배치된 화소 보간 종별 신호에 기초하여 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 복호화 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, N개의 화소를 이용하여 하나의 보간 화소를 생성하는 상기 필터 처리는, 탭 수가 N인 필터에 의한 연산 처리인 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 복호화 방법.
