Claims (19)
- 네트워크(14)에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝하기 위한 시스템(12)으로서,복수의 채널을 포함하는 신호(15)를 수신하는 디바이스(18)와;상기 복수의 채널중 적어도 하나를 시청하기 원함을 표시하는 사용자 요청을 수신하는 디바이스(19)와;상기 수신된 신호를 필터링하고, 상기 복수의 채널 중 적어도 하나에 대응하는 사용자 신호를 사용자에게 송신하는 필터(19)를,포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 네트워크(14)는 MxU 네트워크를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 필터는 패킷 식별자(PID) 필터를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 신호(15)는 위성(20)으로부터 수신되는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 네트워크(14)는 복수의 네트워크 셋톱박스(NTSB)를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝하기 위한 시스템.
- 네트워크(14)에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝을 실행하기 위한 방법으로서,복수의 채널을 포함하는 신호(15)를 수신하는 단계와;상기 복수의 채널 중 적어도 하나를 시청하기 원함을 표시하는 사용자 요청을 수신하는 단계와;상기 복수의 채널 중 적어도 하나에 대응하는 사용자 신호를 얻기 위해 상기 수신된 신호를 필터링하는 단계와;상기 사용자 신호를 상기 네트워크(14)를 통해 사용자에게 송신하는 단계를,포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝을 실행하기 위한 방법.
- 제 6항에 있어서, 상기 사용자 신호를 생성하기 위해 패킷 식별자(PID) 필터를 사용하는 단계를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 원격 튜닝을 실행하기 위한 방법.
- 네트워크(14)에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템(12)으로서,복수의 패킷을 포함하는 신호(15)를 수신하는 디바이스(18)로서, 상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분은 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하는, 디바이스(18)와;상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하는 상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분을 검출하는 디바이스(19)와;상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프와 정밀한 국부 클록(51)을 기초로 해서 조정된 시간 스탬프를 계산하고, 상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분을 상기 네트워크(14)에 송신하기 이전에, 상기 조정된 시간 스탬프를 상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하는 상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분에 병합하는 디바이스(19)를,포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 패킷 중 적어도 일부분은 상기 네트워크(14)로 송신되기 이전에 인터넷 프로토콜(IP) 패킷으로 변환되는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 패킷 각각은, 상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하고 있는지의 여부에 상관없이, 상기 정밀한 국부 클록(51)을 기초로 해서 국부화된 시간 스탬프를 수신하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 상기 네트워크(14)는 복수의 네트워크 셋톱박스(NSTB)(44)를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 12항에 있어서, 시간 동기화 데이터는 전송 패킷 형태로 NSTB에 전송되는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 12항에 있어서, 상기 NSTB 각각은 상기 시간 동기화 데이터를 기초로 해서 내부 클록을 상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프에 동기화시키기 위해 상기 전송 패킷을 사용하도록 적응되는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 표준화된 클록 속도는 상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프와 상기 정밀한 국부 클록으로부터 계산되는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 제 8항에 있어서, 시간 조정 인자가 계산되는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 시스템.
- 네트워크(14)에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 방법으로서,복수의 패킷을 포함하는 신호(15)를 수신하는 단계로서, 상기 복수의 패킷의 적어도 일부분은 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하는, 신호 수신 단계와;상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하는 패킷을 검출하는 단계와;상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프와 정밀한 국부 클록(51)을 기초로 해서 조정된 시간 스탬프를 계산하는 단계와;상기 조정된 시간 스탬프를 상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하는 상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분 내에 병합하는 단계와;상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분을 상기 네트워크(14)에 송신하는 단계를,포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분을 인터넷 프로토콜(IP) 패킷으로 변환하는 단계를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 패킷이 상기 삽입된 시간 스탬프를 포함하는지의 여부에 상관없이, 상기 정밀한 국부 클록(51)을 기초로 한 국부 시간 스탬프를 상기 복수의 패킷 각각 내에 병합하는 단계를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 방법.
- 제 16항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분을 상기 네트워크(14)에 송신하는 단계는, 상기 복수의 패킷 중 적어도 일부분을 복수의 네트워크 셋톱박스(NSTB)(44)에 송신하는 단계를 포함하는, 네트워크에 걸쳐서 클록을 동기화하기 위한 방법.
