Claims (8)
- 데이터 전극 라인들과 주사 전극 라인들이 소정 간격을 두고 서로 교차되게 형성되어 상기 교차 영역들에서 전계발광 셀들이 형성되는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널에 대하여, 각각의 수평 구동 시간의 초기에서, 각각의 데이터 전극 라인의 신호-입력단들이 스위칭에 의하여 데이터 구동부와 전기적으로 분리되고, 상기 각각의 데이터 전극 라인의 타단들이 스위칭에 의하여 전기적으로 서로 연결되는 예비 충전 단계를 포함하는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터의 차이값이 설정 기준값 이하이면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 예비 충전 단계를 수행하지 않고, 현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터의 차이값이 상기 설정 기준값보다 크면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 예비 충전 단계를 수행하는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터가 같으면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 예비 충전 단계를 수행하지 않고, 현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터가 다르면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 예비 충전 단계를 수행하는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 예비 충전 단계의 수행이 종료되면, 각각의 수평 구동 시간의 종료시점까지 주사될 주사 전극 라인에 대한 주사 단계가 수행되는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 주사 단계가,각각의 데이터 전극 라인의 상기 타단들이 스위칭에 의하여 전기적으로 서로 분리되는 단계;각각의 데이터 전극 라인의 상기 신호-입력단들이 스위칭에 의하여 상기 데이터 구동부와 전기적으로 연결되는 단계;주사될 주사 전극 라인에 제1 전위가 인가되며, 다른 모든 주사 전극 라인들에 상기 제1 전위보다 높은 제2 전위가 인가되는 단계; 및각각의 데이터 전류 신호가 각각의 데이터 전극 라인의 상기 신호-입력단들에 인가되는 단계를 포함하는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 주사 단계의 초기에서 추가적인 전류 신호가 상기 모든 신호-입력단들에 인가되는 피크 부팅 단계를 더 포함하는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터의 차이값이 상기 설정 기준값 이하이면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 피크 부팅 단계를 수행하지 않고, 현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터의 차이값이 상기 설정 기준값보다 크면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 피크 부팅 단계를 수행하는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터가 같으면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 피크 부팅 단계를 수행하지 않고, 현재 수평 구동 시간의 데이터와 그 다음 수평 구동 시간의 데이터가 다르면 상기 다음 수평 구동 시간에서의 상기 피크 부팅 단계를 수행하는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 예비 충전 단계에서,상기 데이터 전극 라인들의 타단들이 제너 다이오드의 캐소드와 함께 공통으로 연결되고, 상기 제너 다이오드의 에노드에 상기 제1 전위가 인가되는 전계발광 디스플레이 패널의 구동 방법.
