Abstract
Description
Claims (9)
- 스위칭 소자인 박막트랜지스터의 소스 단자 및 게이트 단자에 연결되는, 데이터 배선 및 게이트 배선과;상기 박막트랜지스터의 드레인 단자와 연결되며, 화소에 인가된 전압을 충전하는 스토지리 커패시터와;상기 데이터 배선에 기생하는 데이터 배선 커패시터와;상기 데이터 배선에 연결되는 스위치와;상기 데이터 배선 커패시터와, 상기 스위치를 통해 연결되는 탱크 커패시터와;상기 탱크 커패시터에 공통 전압을 전달하는 공통 전압 전달 배선을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공통 전압 전달 배선과 연결되며, 상기 공통 전압 전달 배선에 공통 전압이 전달되는 것을 스위칭하는 공통 전압 전달 스위치를 더욱 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 탱크 커패시터의 용량은 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터의 용량보다 수 십배 이상 큰 액정표시장치.
- 탱크 커패시터에 공통 전압을 충전하는 단계와;데이터 배선에 기생하는 데이터 배선 커패시터와 공통 전압이 저장된 상기 탱크 커패시터를 연결하여, 상기 탱크 커패시터와 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터에 저장된 전하가 공유되는 제 1 프리 차징 단계와;게이트 배선에 전압이 인가되어 전하가 공유된 상기 탱크 커패시터와 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터와, 화소에 인가된 전압을 충전하는 스토지리 커패시터를 연결하여, 상기 탱크 커패시터와 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터와 상기 스토리지 커패시터에 저장된 전하가 공유되는 제 2 프리 차징 단계와;상기 제 2 프리 차지 단계 후에, 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터와 상기 탱크 커패시터의 연결을 끊는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치 구동방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 탱크 커패시터에 공통 전압을 충전하는 단계는,상기 데이터 배선에 전압이 인가되는 단계와;상기 데이터 배선에 전압이 인가되는 동안에, 상기 탱크 커패시터에 공통 전압을 충전하는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치 구동방법.
- 제 4 항 또는 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 프리 차징 단계는,상기 게이트 배선에 전압이 인가되어, 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터와 상기 스토지리 커패시터를 연결하는 박막트랜지스터가 온 상태가 되는 단계와;상기 박막트랜지스터가 온 상태에서, 상기 탱크 커패시터와 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터와 상기 스토리지 커패시터에 저장된 전하가 공유되는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치 구동방법.
- 제 4 항 또는 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 프리 차징 단계는,상기 데이터 배선 커패시터와 상기 탱크 커패시터를 연결하는 스위치가 온 상태가 되는 단계와;상기 스위치가 온 상태에서, 상기 탱크 커패시터와 상기 데이터 배선 커패시터에 저장된 전하가 공유되는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치 구동방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,데이터 배선 커패시터와 탱크 커패시터의 연결을 끊는 단계는,상기 스위치가 오프 상태가 되는 단계인 액정표시장치 구동방법.
- 제 4 항 또는 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 탱크 커패시터에 공통 전압을 충전하는 단계는,상기 탱크 커패시터에 공통 전압을 전달하는 배선과 연결된 공통 전압 전달 스위치가 온 상태가 되는 단계와;상기 공통 전압 전달 스위치가 온 상태에서, 상기 탱크 커패시터에 공통 전압이 충전되는 단계를 포함하는 액정표시장치 구동방법.
