Abstract
Description
Claims (14)
- (a) 원통형 반응기 내부에 중공이 형성된 처녀 모재를 제조하는 단계;(b) 처녀 모재가 형성된 원통형 반응기를 처녀 모재와 다른 굴절률을 가지는 첨가제를 혼합한 확산 매질 속에 담그는 단계;(c) 모재의 중공 표면으로부터 확산 매질로 처녀 모재를 팽윤 또는 용해시켜 첨가제를 모재 외각방향으로 진입 확산시키는 단계; 및(d) 모재에 버블형성이나 손상이 없도록 확산 매질을 제거하는 단계로 이루어지는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 중공의 직경이 처녀 모재의 직경의 20% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 처녀 모재가 비정질의 투과성 고분자로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 처녀 모재가 폴리카보네이트, 폴리스티렌, 폴리메타크릴레이트, 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트, 테플론 AF, 또는 사이톱(Cytop)으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항 있어서, 처녀 모재의 재질로서 메틸메타크릴레이트, 벤질메타크릴레이트, 페닐메타크릴레이트, 1-메틸시클로헥실메타크릴레이트, 시클로헥실메타크릴레이트, 클로로벤질메타크릴레이트, 1-페닐에틸메타크릴레이트, 1,2-디페닐에틸메타크릴레이트, 디페닐메틸메타크릴레이트, 퍼퓨릴메타크릴레이트, 1-페닐시클로헥실메타크릴레이트, 펜타클로로페닐메타크릴레이트, 펜타브로모페닐메타크릴레이트, 스티렌, TFEMA(2,2,2-트리플루오로에틸메타크릴레이트), TFPMA(2,2,3,3-트리플루오로프로필메타크릴레이트), PFPMA(2,2,3,3,3-펜타플루오로프로필메타크릴레이트), HFIPMA(1,1,1,3,3,3-헥사플루오로이소메타크릴레이트), HFBM(2,2,3,4,4,4-헥사플루오로부틸메타크릴레이트), HFBMA(2,2,3,3,4,4,4-헵타플루오로부틸메타크릴레이트) 및 PFOM(1H,1H-퍼플루오로-n-옥틸메타크릴레이트)로 이루어진 군으로부터 한가지 이상 선택되어 중합된 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 매질로서 고분자 재료에 대해 용매 또는 비용매인 물질을 사용하거나, 또는 그 혼합물을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 매질이 초임계상(supercritical phase)이거나, 또는 이에 근접하는 액상(liquid phase) 또는 기상(vapor phase)인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 (c)단계에서 확산 매질의 상이 변화되도록 확산 매질의 온도 및 압력 조건이 변화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 확산 매질로서 CO2, SF6, C2H6, CCl3F, CClF3, CHF3, 또는 이소프로판올의 초임계 유체를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조 방법.
- 제 1항 있어서, 상기 첨가제가 1,3,5-트리브로모벤젠(1,3,5-tribromobenzene), 1,2,4,5-테트라브로모벤젠(1,2,4,5-tetrabromobenzene), 벤질부틸프탈레이트(benzylbutylphthalate), 디페닐설파이드(diphenylsulfide(DS)), 벤질 살리실레이트(Benzyl salicylate), 1,4-디브로모나프탈렌(1,4-dibromonaphthalane), 1-브로모나프탈렌(1-bromonaphthalane) 및 트리페닐 포스페이트(triphenyl phosphate)로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 (c) 단계에서 상기 반응기를 정속회전 또는 변속 회전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 (c)단계에서 상기 확산 매체의 온도 및 압력 조건이 주기, 위상 및 진폭이 변화하는 특정한 형태의 함수를 따르도록 변화시켜 굴절율을 변화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조방법.
- 제 1항에 방법에 의해 제조된 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재.
- (a) 원통형 반응기가 장착되는 채임버;(b) 확산 매질과 첨가제를 혼합하여 채임버 내로 투입할 수 있는 투입장치;(c) 채임버 내의 압력 및 온도를 조절하면서 모니터링 할 수 있는 컨트롤 장치; 및(d) 상기 원통형 반응기를 회전 시킬 수 있는 구동장치를 포함하는 플라스틱 광섬유용 모재의 제조장치.
