Claims (11)
- 인플레이터(22)로부터 가스가 공급되면 승객실의 측방향 영역에서 커튼 형상으로 팽창하도록 디자인된 에어백(10)이 필러(pillar)부(32) 및 루프 사이드 레일(31)과 같은 차체의 구조 부재(31,32)를 따라 접힌 상태로 수납되는 윈도우 에어백시스템에 있어서,상기 에어백(10)이 상기 구조 부재(31,32)와 가니시(garnish:41,42) 사이에서 접힌 상태로 수납되는 위치에 인접해 있는 방식으로 중공 에너지흡수부재(51,52)가 상기 구조부재(31,32)와 상기 구조부재(31,32)를 덮는 가니시(41,42,43) 사이에서 상기 구조부재(31,32)의 길이방향으로 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 에어백(10)의 전개시에 상기 에어백을 안내하는 안내면(51b,52b)이 상기 에너지흡수부재(51,52)의 일 측면에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,필러부(32)에서 접힌 상태로 수납되는 상기 에어백(10)의 부분(12)은 상기 안내면(51b)과 대체로 평행하게 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,필러부(32)에서 접힌 상태로 수납되는 상기 에어백(10)의 부분(12)은 상기 안내면(51b)과 교차되는 방향으로 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,필러부(32)에서 접힌 상태로 수납되는 상기 에어백(10)의 부분(12)은 상기 안내면(51b)으로부터 이격되어 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,필러부에서 접힌 상태로 수납되는 상기 에어백(10)의 부분(12)은 상기 안내면(51b)와 접촉하여 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 필러부는 A필러(32) 또는 C필러이며,상기 에어백(10)의 부분(12)은 팽창부가 없는 기저직포(base cloth)로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 중공 에너지흡수부재(52)는 B필러 가니시(43)의 상단부 위와 접힌 에어백(10) 아래의 상기 루프 사이드 레일(31)의 부분(31a)상에 배치되며,상기 에너지흡수부재(52)에는 상기 승객실 안쪽으로 상기 에어백(10)이 확실히 전개되도록 하는 안내면(52b)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 안내면(52b)은 상기 에너지흡수부재(52)의 몸체쪽 장착면에 대하여 경사져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 에너지흡수부재(51,52) 각각은 압출가능한 금속으로 만들어진 중공부재 또는 종이와 금속 포일로부터 만들어진 중공부재인 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템.
- 인플레이터(22)로부터 가스가 공급되면 승객실의 측방향 영역에서 커튼 형상으로 팽창하도록 디자인된 에어백(10)이 필러부(32) 및 루프 사이드 레일(31)과 같은 차체의 구조 부재(31,32)를 따라 접힌 상태로 수납되는 윈도우 에어백시스템 장착방법에 있어서,상기 차체의 상기 구조 부재(31,32)의 길이방향을 따라 중공 에너지흡수부재(51,52)를 피팅하는 단계; 및상기 에너지흡수부재(51,52)가 상기 차체에 피팅된 후에 상기 에어백(10)을 상기 차체에 피팅하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 윈도우 에어백시스템 장착방법.
