Abstract
Description
Claims (11)
- 기판의 외곽 둘레를 따라 형성되고, 모서리 부분에서 양쪽 씰라인이 완전히 연결되지 않고 소정 간격만큼 이격되게 형성되며, 이격된 양쪽 씰라인은 상·하 기판 합착시 늘어난 체적에 의해 최종적으로 연결되게 형성되는 씰패턴을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 이격된 양쪽 씰라인은 서로 대응되는 형상으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 이격된 양쪽 씰라인은 마주보는 막대(bar) 형상으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 이격된 양쪽 씰라인의 사이로 상·하 기판 합착시 씰라인에 의해 둘러싸인 공기가 외부로 배출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 이격된 양쪽 씰라인은 상기 모서리 부분에 적어도 하나 이상 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 씰라인은 0.20mm ~ 0.40mm 의 선폭을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치용 기판.
- 제 1, 제 2 기판이 제공되는 단계와;상기 제 1기판의 외곽 둘레를 따라 씰라인의 모서리 부분이 완전히 연결되지 않은 씰패턴을 형성하는 단계; 및상기 씰패턴이 형성된 제 1기판과 상기 제 2기판을 합착하는 단계; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 씰패턴은,상기 제 1, 제 2기판 합착시 상기 모서리 부분에서 늘어난 양쪽 씰라인의 체적에 의해 최종 합착후 완전히 연결됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 제 1기판에 형성된 씰패턴의 안쪽 영역에 소정량의 액정을 적하하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 제 1기판에 형성된 씰패턴은 적어도 하나 이상의 액정주입구을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 제 1, 제 2기판을 합착함에 따라 형성된 쎌갭에 액정을 주입한 후 액정주입구를 밀봉하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
