Claims (10)
- 두 기판 사이에 전기-광학 물질을 포함하는 디스플레이 장치로서, 상기 기판들 중 적어도 하나는 투명하고, 제 1 기판에는 한 픽셀의 위치에 행 전극(row electrode)과 전극(column electrode)이 제공되고, 각 픽셀은 하나의 행 전극과 하나의 열 전극에 연결되고, 제어 수단은 상기 행 전극에 선택신호를 인가하기 위한 제 1 구동 수단과 상기 열 전극에 데이터 신호를 인가하기 위한 제 2 구동 수단을 구비하는 제어 수단을 포함하는 디스플레이 장치에 있어서,상기 디스플레이 장치는 측정 요소를 포함하고, 상기 제어 수단은, 선택기간 동안에 전압을 상기 측정 요소에 인가하고, 상기 선택기간 이후에 상기 측정 요소의 양단 전압의 변동을 측정하며, 측정된 상기 전압 변동에 따라 상기 제어 수단에 의해 생성된 상기 디스플레이 장치의 상기 제어 전압 중 하나를 적용하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 각 픽셀은 스위칭 요소를 통해 상기 행 전극 또는 상기 열 전극에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 측정 요소는 픽셀의 한 행을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제어 수단은, 상기 측정 요소의 양단 전압의 극성 부호를 반전시키고, 상기 선택기간 바로 후의 전압과 후속하는 선택기간 바로 전의 전압 사이의 차이를 측정하기 위한 수단과, 두 극성에 대한 전압 차이의 절대값이 거의 동일하게 되는 방식으로 상기 디스플레이 장치의 제어 전압을 적용시키기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 디스플레이 장치는 반사기를 포함하거나, 또는 상기 기판 중 어느 하나의 기판상의 상기 화상 전극이 반사성인 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제어 전압은 선택 신호의 전압을 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제어 전압은 데이터 신호의 전압을 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제어 전압은 상기 디스플레이 장치의 기준 전압을 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 기판은 적어도 하나의 대응 전극을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 제어 전압은 상기 대응 전극 양단의 신호의 전압을 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
