Specifically, in order to manufacture eco-friendly functional cotton yarn, the mixed extract of tangerine peel, lemon peel, orange peel, and citron peel, which is discarded in a lump of cotton, is extracted and mixed, and then processed, and the natural extract is absorbed and coated with the cotton yarn. It has an antibacterial function that prevents bacteria that react with sweat from the human body, a deodorizing function that removes bad odors, and an antibacterial function that does not stain sweat, so it can be used as eco-friendly functional clothing.
Description
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing eco-friendly functional cotton yarn and clothing using the same. More specifically, it relates to a method of manufacturing eco-friendly functional cotton yarn with deodorizing and antibacterial functions by using eco-friendly natural products that are harmless to the human body without using chemicals, and eco-friendly functional clothing using the same.
Cotton used to manufacture cotton yarn is an annual plant belonging to the Malvaceae family. In temperate regions, it is an annual herb, but in its native tropical region, it is a woody plant that grows up to 180㎝ to 210㎝. It likes hot and humid climates, and the optimal growth temperature is 20-28℃. After fertilization, the seed grows larger and the ovary develops to become a fruit, which is called an actinidia. As the actinidia spreads, the cotton wool, which is the raw material of cotton, is exposed. Cotton cultivation in Korea began in 1363 when Mun Ik-jeom went to the Yuan Dynasty as a provincial secretary and brought back Asian cotton seeds in a brush container when he returned home. Afterwards, production increased significantly with the introduction of land noodles in 1905. It is also called cotton, miyeong, and mimyeon, and its scientific name is Gossypium indicum LAM . In temperate regions, it is an annual herb, but in its native tropical region, it is a woody plant. The height is only around 90cm in Korea, but in tropical regions it can grow up to 180~210cm. The main stem extends straight and has about 15 nodes, and each node has a leaf and two lateral buds.
Cotton fiber is mainly used for textile purposes such as cotton yarn, cotton fabric, blended spinning, and netting, for cotton making such as bedding, cotton, and cotton wool, or for industrial purposes such as cotton powder and celluloid. The fruit of cotton is extracted for oil and used for cooking oil, butter, margarine, etc. Used in the manufacture of
Meanwhile, sweat from the human body has no odor immediately after being secreted, but when it reacts with dead skin cells and bacteria, it generates ammonia, which has a pungent odor, and acetic acid, which has a sour odor. There is a need to develop functional clothing that reduces such odors. Therefore, in the present invention, we have developed a functional cotton yarn that has an antibacterial function that blocks bacteria that react with sweat from the human body, a deodorizing function that removes bad odors, and an antibacterial function that does not stain sweat stains, and can be used for this reason.

In one aspect, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing eco-friendly functional cotton yarn.
The method for producing eco-friendly functional cotton yarn according to the present invention is to manufacture cotton yarn through a mixing step, a carding step, a fine carding step, a rolling step, a roving step, a spinning step, and a winding step.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the mixed cotton step is a process of loosening the cotton lumps, removing dust and blemishes, and refining. Specifically, it is a process of mixing cotton fibers evenly to achieve consistent quality, and the clumped cotton is shaken and beaten to ensure complete mixing. During this process, impurities such as seeds and leaves are removed.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the mixed cotton step is more specifically, tangerine peel, lemon peel, and orange peel that are discarded in lumps on cotton cotton from which dust or blemishes have been removed to provide functionality such as deodorizing or antibacterial function. And it further includes the step of treating the mixed extract obtained by extracting the citron peel for 24 to 48 hours and then drying it so that the natural extract is absorbed and coated. At this time, the above treatment and drying steps are repeated three times so that the active ingredients of the natural extract can be sufficiently absorbed and coated on the cotton.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the carding step is a process for making slivers by once again separating the fibers bundled up through the mixed cotton step one by one. Specifically, after passing through the mixed cotton stage, it is put into a carding machine for primary combing. The cotton is put into a machine equipped with a thin needle that moves up and down and in the reverse direction and is then spun. The cotton is torn by the needle, and the fine cotton and dust that do not meet the standard fall to the floor. At this time, the cotton machine looked like a rice threshing machine used in rural areas. There was a thin comb on top of the cylinder, and the cotton passed through it and was combed. After going through the carding process, it is too short to become thread. It is a process aimed at aligning cotton fibers in one direction, and after one combing with low-quality yarn, it moves on to the drawing process.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the well-sparing step is a process of completely removing impurities by combing the 1st sliver once more, and the well-spared cotton yarn (combed yarn) has greater strength and excellent uniformity than carded yarn. Specifically, in SLIVER that has been carded, the short fibers have not yet been completely removed, and it contains short cotton fibers called neps that are tangled the size of a grain of rice. Therefore, in order to obtain thinner and better quality yarn, the sliver must be combed again to completely remove short fibers and neps and arrange the fibers more parallelly. The principle of the process is similar to the ‘principle of Chambit’. This is a process in which the cylinder is passed through a comb that is thinner and more tightly packed than the comb of a carding machine. The yarn produced through two combing processes is mainly used to make expensive products because it has undergone a combing process. Since there are no impurities in the yarn, it has good gloss, dyeability, and good feel.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the stretching step is a process of combining 6 to 7 strands of 1st or 2nd sliver 2 to 3 times and stretching them again thinly, and is mixed in this process when mixing different types of fibers. Specifically, the cotton yarn that has passed the carding or regular carding stage is shaped like a rice cake made of cotton, and is called sliver. This is a process of combining 6 to 8 slivers, rolling them into one dense, long sliver, and putting it in a drum or something. It is evenly made into a cotton strip about 30cm wide and 1cm thick.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the roving step is a process of stretching the yarn to a thinner thickness and wrapping it around a tube because the yarn cannot be pulled directly from the sliver made thin and even during the drawing process. Specifically, the roving thread is about the thickness of udon, and here, further twist is applied and the final draft is applied to extract the final finished thread. Pull out the thread by twisting and winding the cleaned cotton around the pin. A ring spinning machine is usually used, and the number of twists is determined by the difference between the speed at which the yarn is unraveled and the speed of the spinner below.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the spinning step is a process of twisting the yarn to achieve the desired thickness and winding it on a bobbin. During the entire spinning process, ring-spun / open-ended yarn is determined depending on the twist or count quality of the yarn, the stage where yarn productivity is determined, and the type of spinning machine.
Among the eco-friendly functional cotton yarn manufacturing methods according to the present invention, the winding step is a process of winding the yarn to become a product.
On the other hand, in the method of manufacturing eco-friendly functional cotton yarn according to the present invention, the mixed cotton step is more specifically performed by adding tangerine peel, lemon peel, It further includes the step of treating the mixed extract obtained by extracting and mixing orange peel and citron peel for 24 to 48 hours and then drying it so that the natural extract is absorbed and coated. At this time, the above treatment and drying steps are repeated three times so that the active ingredients of the natural extract can be sufficiently absorbed and coated on the cotton.

In addition, examples and comparative examples were prepared as follows for subsequent experiments, as shown in Table 1 below.
Experimental Example 1> Deodorizing function confirmation test
The natural extract was treated according to Table 1 of Preparation Example 2, absorbed and coated on cotton, and cotton yarn was manufactured according to the manufacturing process of Preparation Example 1. The manufactured cotton yarn was used to make fabric for clothing using a weaving machine, and the deodorizing function of the fabric was tested.
Put 30cm 2 of fabric manufactured by processing each extract into a 1 liter container, and place the ammonia gas in the container so that the concentration of ammonia gas, which is known to be produced when sweat secreted by our body reacts with dead skin cells and bacteria, is 500ppm. Injected. Afterwards, the residual concentration of ammonia gas was measured after 60 and 120 minutes, and the deodorization rate was calculated according to the following equation. Each sample was tested three times, the average value was calculated, and the results were obtained using the formula above and shown in Table 2 below.
1][Equation 1]
At this time, C 0 represents the gas concentration before sample injection, and C 1 represents the gas concentration after sample injection.
As shown in Table 2, low deodorization rates were confirmed in Examples 1 to 4, which were fabrics made from cotton treated with each extract alone, and a comparison with Examples 5 and 6, which were mixed extracts, using different extraction solvents. In Examples 2 to 4, it was confirmed that a relatively high deodorization rate was observed. In particular, the highest deodorization rate was confirmed in Example 6, which was a fabric manufactured using cotton cotton absorbent and coated by treatment with a mixed extract of tangerine, lemon, orange, and citron ethanol extract in a weight ratio of 2:3:2:1. did.
Experimental Example 2> Antibacterial function confirmation test
The natural extract was treated according to Table 1 of Preparation Example 2, absorbed and coated on cotton, and cotton yarn was manufactured according to the manufacturing process of Preparation Example 1. The manufactured cotton yarn was used to make fabric for clothing using a weaving machine, and its deodorizing function was confirmed. The following experiment was conducted to confirm the direct antibacterial function of the extracts treated with cotton. In addition to being incorporated into clothing fabrics, it can be used as a direct clothing deodorizer with an antibacterial effect.
To compare the antibacterial activity of each extract, two experimental strains, Staphylococcus aureus (KCTC 3881) and Escherichia coli ( Escherichia coil , KCTC 2571), cultured according to the paper disc method were suspended in each medium for 20 days. ㎕ was inoculated. Place sterilized paper discs (Whatman AA discs, 8 mm) in LB medium and administer 50 ㎕ of each extract according to Table 1. 37 was cultured for 24 hours. After culturing, the presence and size of a clear zone around the disc were measured. The measurement results are shown in Table 3 below (-: no antibacterial effect, +: 12 mm or less, ++: 12 to 21 mm, +++: 21 mm or more).
As can be seen in Table 3, it was confirmed that the mixed extracts of Examples 5 and 6 exhibited high antibacterial activity.
