Abstract

One aspect of the present invention provides a feminine cleanser composition comprising damask rose flower oil and an extract of Calendula flower water and propolis as active ingredients. An object of the present invention is to provide the feminine cleanser composition which is less irritating to the skin and has excellent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD [0001] The present invention relates to a feminine cleaning composition comprising a damask rose flower oil and a propolis extract as an active ingredient.

The present invention relates to a cleansing composition for women containing natural ingredients.

The quality of the woman is the connection between the vulva and the uterus, which is the most humid and warm place in the female body. Women's vagina is a suitable environment for bacteria or fungi, which is the main cause of vaginitis, and the disease is likely to occur.

In normal conditions, many lactic acid bacteria live in the vagina, making the inside of the vagina mildly acidic to inhibit the growth of pathogens and fungi. However, the use of antibiotics or long-term use of birth control pills, tampons or loops, pregnancy or childbirth, When the balance inside the vagina breaks down due to hormonal balance changes, vaginitis may occur due to the proliferation of opportunistic pathogens that normally inhibit growth under normal conditions in the vagina.

Vaginitis has been reported as bacterial vaginosis, Candida vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis and Atrophic vaginitis.

The most common disease is bacterial vaginosis, caused by Gardnerella vaginalis . Candida albicans , common with bacterial vaginosis, is caused by the fungus Candida albicans .

To prevent female diseases, cleaners (vaginal cleansers) and vulva cleaners are often used. As a local cleaning agent commonly used to prevent vaginitis, a product obtained by sulfonating fatty acids or distilled lauryl alcohol and synthesizing emollients, thickeners, nutrients, foaming agents and organic disinfectants Are being sold.

However, the chemical quality detergent has a limitation in that the detergent effect is lowered and the germs are removed instead of removing the germs, and the odor and unpleasant odor removing effect are inhibited.

It is also known that polyene-based drugs such as nystatin, amphotericin B, azole-based drugs such as ketoconazole, miconazole, There are imidazole drugs and triazole drugs such as itraconazole and fluconazole but resistance to antibiotics may cause further difficulties in the subsequent treatment.

Although various drugs have been proposed as methods for treating vaginal cleansing and abnormal symptoms, it is still not enough to present a non-irritating detergent, a cleanser or a drug in consideration that the site of use is the most sensitive mucosal site for external substances . Thus, there is a need to develop new technologies to meet the ongoing need for cleaners using natural extracts without irritation and side effects.

Meanwhile, the cosmetics industry is developing a number of products using natural products to reduce skin irritation caused by various chemicals. In addition to low adverse effects on skin, natural materials have recently been increasingly developed as cosmetic raw materials, as consumers have become more receptive to cosmetics using natural materials.

The present inventors have developed an environmentally friendly and highly functional cleansing product for women, which contains only natural ingredients corresponding to EWG 1 grade and can safely use sensitive skin.

The presence of increased turbidity in the medium was confirmed and the IC 50 (half maximal inhibitory concentration) value required to inhibit the antimicrobial activity and the microorganism by 50% was measured using the Broth Microdilution Susceptibility Test Respectively.

Specifically, each composition was diluted with Sabouraud Dextrose medium to a cell number of 2 × 10 5 cells / ml, and the compositions of the examples and the comparative examples were treated at a concentration of 50 mg / ml in 96-wells. After incubation at 28 ° C for 24 hours, the absorbance was measured at a wavelength of 570 nm using a microplate reader (BIO-RAD) to determine IC 50 values. The results are shown in Table 3 below.

Referring to Table 3, the compositions of Examples 1 to 8 hardly affected the proliferation of lactobacillus casei, which is a lactic acid bacterium, but effectively inhibited the growth of Candida bacillus and Gardnerella vaginalis.

In particular, in Comparative Example 1 in which only damask rose oil was applied, the growth of Lactobacillus casei was partially affected, and the growth inhibitory effect on Candida albicans and Gardnerella vaginalis was somewhat insufficient.

The compositions of Examples 1 to 8 inhibited the growth of Candida bacillus and Gardnerella, but did not affect the growth of Lactobacillus casei. The results show that the microbial-specific antimicrobial effect of the compositions of Examples 1 to 8 Suggesting that it is very likely to be used as a female cleaner.
