Description
Claims (9)
- 기판 상에 배열된 복수의 화소;상기 화소에 개별적으로 구비되어 수평전계를 형성하는 제 1전극 및 제 2전극;상기 기판 상에 종방향으로 배열되며, 각각 열 단위의 화소들에 전기적으로 접속된 복수의 데이터라인;상기 기판 상에 횡방향으로 배열되며, 각각 행 단위의 화소들에 전기적으로 접속된 복수의 게이트라인 및 공통전압라인;상기 데이터라인을 통해 상기 화소의 제 1전극에 화상정보를 인가하는 데이터구동부;각 공통전압라인 일측에 구비되며, 주사신호에 동기되어 입력되는 제 1,2제어신호에 의해 제 1공통전압 또는 제 2공통전압을 상기 공통전압라인을 통해 행 단위의 화소들의 제 2전극에 선택적으로 인가하는 복수의 공통전압부; 및,제 N번째 게이트라인을 통해 순차적으로 상기 행 단위의 화소들과, 제 N+1번째 공통전압부에 주사신호를 공급하는 게이트구동부를 포함하고,상기 공통전압부는, 상기 게이트라인에 게이트전극이 공통적으로 연결되어 주사신호에 의해 상기 제 1,2제어신호를 통과 또는 차단시키는 제 1,2트랜지스터; 및,상기 제 1트랜지스터와 제 2트랜지스터의 드레인 전극에 각각 게이트전극이 접속되며, 상기 제 1,2트랜지스터를 통해 인가된 제 1,2제어신호에 의해 어느하나가 선택적으로 도통되어 상기 공통전압라인에 제 1공통전압 또는 제 2공통전압을 인가하는 제 3,4트랜지스터로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1공통전압 및 제 2공통전압은 서로 다른 전위를 갖는 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1제어신호 및 제 2제어신호는 제 N번째 공통전압부 및 제 N+1번째 공통전압부의 제 1트랜지스터 및 제 2트랜지스터에 각각 교번하여 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1,2트랜지스터는 동일 타입이며, 상기 제 3,4트랜지스터는 동일 타입인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 3,4트랜지스터에 인가되는 제 1제어신호 및 제 2제어신호는 매 프레임마다 고전압 또는 저전압으로 천이되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 공통전압부에는 상기 제 3,4트랜지스터의 게이트전극에 각각 접속되어 상기 제 1,2트랜지스터를 통해 인가되는 제 1,2제어신호를 저장하여 한 프레임동안 상기 공통전압라인에 인가되는 전압 레벨을 일정하게 유지시키는 커패시터가 추가로 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 화소에는 인가된 제 1공통전압 또는 제 2공통전압의 전위와 반대의 전위를 갖는 화상정보가 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
