Claims (10)
- 유선 통신 방법에 있어서:국부(local) 물리적 계층(PHY)에서 이더넷(Ethernet) 매체 독립 인터페이스(media independent interface;MII) 데이터를 4 비트 패킷 스트림(packet stream)으로부터 3 비트 패킷 스트림으로 변환(convert)하는 단계;상기 3 비트 패킷 스트림을 스크램블(scramble)하는 단계;하나 또는 그 이상의 트위스트-페어 와이어들(twisted-pair wires)을 통해 원격(remote) PHY로 통신하기 위해, 상기 3 비트 패킷 스트림을 두 개의 터너리 비트 스트림(ternary bits stream)들에 맵핑(mapping)하는 단계;상기 맵핑 동안 상기 3 비트 패킷 스트림을 정렬(align)하는 단계; 및PAM-3을 이용하여 상기 원격 PHY로 통신하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유선 통신 방법.
