Abstract
Description
Claims (35)
- 제1 면과,제1 면에 대향한 제2 면과,제1면과 제2 면 사이에 연장된 입력 엣지면과,제1 면에 형성된 복수의 프리즘 홈을 포함하고,상기 프리즘 홈 각각은 홈축을 갖고, 각각의 홈축은 서로 홈축에 대해 정렬되고, 상기 홈축은 입력 엣지면에 사실상 수직으로 배치되도록 배열되고, 복수의 프리즘 홈 각각은 프리즘 홈의 광학 특징에 영향을 주는 특성을 갖고, 상기 특성은 적어도 프리즘 홈의 진폭, 영상비 또는 핏치이고, 상기 특성은 입력 엣지면으로부터 연장하는 홈축을 따라 위치의 함수로서 변하는 도파로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 인접한 프리즘 홈의 특성의 변화는 동상(in-phase) 및 이위상(out-of-phase) 중 하나인 도파로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 특성은 입력 엣지면에 더 근접하게 배열된 위치에서 홈축을 따라 더 큰 수치를 갖도록 배열되는 도파로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 특성은 홈축의 길이를 따라 불연속적인 특성의 변화를 포함하는 도파로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 특성에서의 변화는 홈축의 길이를 따라 연속적인 특성의 변화를 포함하는 도파로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 특성은 프리즘 홈의 광출력에 관한 것이고, 광출력은 입력 엣지에 더 근접하게 배열된 홈축 상의 위치로부터 입력 엣지로부터 더 멀리 배열된 홈축 상의 위치까지 홈축을 따라 제1 수치로부터 제1 수치보다 더 작은 제2 수치까지 경사진 도파로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제2 면에 형성된 복수의 프리즘 홈을 포함하는 도파로.
