Claims (26)
- 최대 환원성 온도가 300℃ 내지 500 ℃ 이고 500 ℃ 에서의 6 시간동안의 소성 후의 비표면적이 40 ㎡/g 내지 89 ㎡/g 이며 정방상 (tetragonal phase) 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는, 산화지르코늄의 비율이 50 중량% 이상 100 중량% 미만인 산화지르코늄 및 산화세륨 기재의 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 란탄족 원소들에서 선택된, 세륨 이외의 하나 이상의 다른 원소를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 란탄, 네오디뮴 및 프라세오디뮴에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 란탄족 원소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 산화지르코늄 함량이 65 중량% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 최대 환원성 온도가 480 ℃ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 500 ℃ 에서의 6 시간동안의 소성 후의 비표면적이 70 ㎡/g 내지 89 ㎡/g 인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 900 ℃ 에서의 6 시간동안의 소성 후의 비표면적이 30 ㎡/g 내지 53 ㎡/g 인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 900 ℃ 에서의 6 시간동안의 소성 후의 비표면적이 45 ㎡/g 내지 53 ㎡/g 인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 1000 ℃ 에서의 6 시간동안의 소성 후의 비표면적이 25 ㎡/g 내지 40 ㎡/g 인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 산화지르코늄의 결정격자 내로 세륨이 혼입함으로써 형성된 고용체의 형태로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 따른 조성물의 제조 방법으로서, 하기 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법:- (a) 지르코늄 화합물 및 세륨 화합물을 함유한 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;- (b) 상기 혼합물을 염기성 화합물과 접촉시켜, 침전물을 수득하는 단계;- (c) 상기 침전물을 수성 매질 중에서 가열하는 단계; 그 후,- (d) 먼저, 음이온성 계면활성제, 비이온성 계면활성제, 폴리에틸렌 글리콜류, 카르복실산류 및 이들의 염, 및 직전 단계에서 생성된 매질 중의 카르복시메틸화된 지방 알콜 에톡실레이트 형의 계면활성제에서 선택되는 첨가제를 첨가하거나; 또는- (d') 상기 침전물을 먼저 분리시킨 후, 상기 첨가제를 상기 침전물에 첨가하는 단계;- (e) 직전 단계에서 수득한 침전물에 대하여 밀링 작업 (milling operation) 을 수행하는 단계; 및- (f) 이렇게 수득한 침전물을 소성하는 단계.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 침전물을 산화 분위기에서 소성하거나 또는 먼저 불활성 기체 중에서 소성하고 그 후 다음으로 산화 분위기에서 소성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 지르코늄 화합물 및 세륨 화합물로서, 질산염, 아세트산염, 염화물 및 세릭 암모늄 질산염에서 선택된 화합물을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 지르코늄 또는 세륨 화합물로서 졸 (sol) 을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 단계 (a) 의 혼합물에서, 세륨이 Ce(III) 형태인 세륨 화합물을 사용하고, 단계 (a) 동안 또는 단계 (b) 동안 산화제를 첨가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 단계 (b) 동안 상기 언급한 혼합물을 염기성 화합물의 용액에 도입시킴으로써 상기 혼합물을 염기성 화합물과 접촉시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 침전물을 단계 (c) 에서 100 ℃ 내지 150 ℃의 온도까지 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 습윤 밀링 작업을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 침전물의 현탁액에 전단 작용을 가함으로써 밀링을 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물을 함유하고, 탈수, 가수소황화 (hydrosulfurization), 가수소탈질 (hydrodenitrification), 탈황 (desulfurization), 가수소탈황 (hydrodesulfurization), 할로겐화 수소 이탈 (dehydrohalogenation), 개질, 수증기 개질, 분해 (cracking), 수소첨가분해 (hydrocracking), 수소화, 탈수소화, 이성질화, 불균화 (dismutation), 유기 화합물의 옥시염소화 (oxychlorination) 및 탈수소고리화, 산화 및/또는 환원 반응, 클라우스 (Claus) 반응, 내연 배기가스 처리, 탈금속화 (demetalization), 메탄화, 시프트 전환 (shift conversion), 및 린 (lean) 모드에서 작동하는 내연 엔진에 의해 방출되는 검댕(soot)의 촉매적 산화로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 반응에 사용되거나 또는 NOx 트랩 (trap)으로서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매계.
- 제 20 항에 따른 촉매계를 촉매로서 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 내연 엔진의 배기가스 처리 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물을 촉매로서 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 내연 엔진의 배기가스 처리 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 최대 환원성 온도가 400 ℃ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 500 ℃ 에서의 6 시간동안의 소성 후의 비표면적이 80 ㎡/g 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물.
- 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 따른 조성물의 제조 방법으로서, 하기 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법:- (a) 지르코늄 화합물, 세륨 화합물 및 란탄족 화합물을 함유한 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;- (b) 상기 혼합물을 염기성 화합물과 접촉시켜, 침전물을 수득하는 단계;- (c) 상기 침전물을 수성 매질 중에서 가열하는 단계; 그 후,- (d) 먼저, 음이온성 계면활성제, 비이온성 계면활성제, 폴리에틸렌 글리콜류, 카르복실산류 및 이들의 염, 및 직전 단계에서 생성된 매질 중의 카르복시메틸화된 지방 알콜 에톡실레이트 형의 계면활성제에서 선택되는 첨가제를 첨가하거나; 또는- (d') 상기 침전물을 먼저 분리시킨 후, 상기 첨가제를 상기 침전물에 첨가하는 단계;- (e) 직전 단계에서 수득한 침전물에 대하여 밀링 작업 (milling operation) 을 수행하는 단계; 및- (f) 이렇게 수득한 침전물을 소성하는 단계.
- 제 25 항에 있어서, 지르코늄 화합물, 세륨 화합물 및 란탄족 화합물로서, 질산염, 아세트산염, 염화물 및 세릭 암모늄 질산염에서 선택된 화합물을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
