Description
Claims (14)
- 화소를 매트릭스 형상으로 배치한 표시 장치로서,각 화소는,게이트 라인으로부터의 선택 신호에 의해 온 오프되어, 데이터 라인으로부터의 데이터 신호의 받아들임을 제어하는 선택 트랜지스터와,상기 선택 트랜지스터를 통해 받아들인 데이터 신호에 따른 전류를 흘리는 구동 트랜지스터와,상기 구동 트랜지스터에 흐르는 전류에 따라 발광하는 발광 소자를 포함하고,상기 게이트 라인은, 각 화소 행을 따라 행 방향으로 배치되고,상기 구동 트랜지스터의 동작을 제어하기 위해, 게이트 라인 외에 2개의 제어 라인이 각 화소 행을 따라 배치되고,상기 2개의 제어 라인의 사이에 게이트 라인을 배치하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 선택 트랜지스터의 제어단은 상기 게이트 라인에 접속되고, 일단은 상기 데이터 라인에 접속되고, 타단은 용량을 통해, 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 제어단에 접속되어 있는 표시 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 선택 트랜지스터의 타단과 상기 용량과의 접속부와, 전원 라인과의 사이에 전위 제어 트랜지스터가 설치되고, 그 전위 제어 트랜지스터의 제어단은, 상기 2개의 제어 라인 중의 1개의 제어 라인인 용량 세트 라인이 접속되어 있는 표시 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 구동 트랜지스터는, 일단이 상기 전원 라인에 접속되고, 타단이 상기 구동 제어 트랜지스터를 통해 상기 발광 소자에 접속되어 있고, 상기 구동 제어 트랜지스터의 제어단에는, 상기 2개의 제어 라인 중의 1개의 제어 라인인 발광 세트 라인이 접속되어 있는 표시 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 구동 트랜지스터의 타단과, 상기 구동 제어 트랜지스터의 접속부와, 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 제어단과의 사이에는 단락 트랜지스터가 설치되어 있고, 상기 단락 트랜지스터의 제어단은 상기 게이트 라인에 접속되고, 상기 선택 트랜지스터와 상기 단락 트랜지스터는 동일한 타이밍에서 온 오프하는 표시 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 용량 세트 라인이 비액티브 레벨로 되어 상기 전위 제어 트랜지스터가 오프되어 있는 상태에서, 상기 게이트 라인이 액티브 레벨로 되고, 상기 선택 트랜지스터 및 상기 단락 트랜지스터가 온 함으로써,상기 용량의 일단에 데이터 신호에 따른 제1 전압을 공급하고, 상기 전원 라인의 전원전압으로부터 상기 구동 트랜지스터의 임계치 전압분만큼 내려간 제2 전압을 상기 용량의 타단에 공급하여, 상기 용량에 상기 제1 전압과 상기 제2 전압의 차의 전압을 충전하는 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 용량 세트 라인은, 상기 게이트 라인이 액티브 레벨로 되기 전에 비액티브 레벨로 되고, 상기 게이트 라인이 비액티브 레벨로 된 후에 액티브 레벨로 됨으로써, 상기 선택 트랜지스터와 상기 전위 제어 트랜지스터가 동시에 온 하는 것을 방지하는 표시 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 게이트 라인이 액티브 레벨로 된 후에, 상기 발광 세트 라인이 비액티브 레벨로 되고,상기 게이트 라인이 비액티브 레벨로 되고 또한 상기 용량 세트 라인이 액티브로 된 후에, 상기 발광 세트 라인이 액티브 레벨로 되는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 구동 트랜지스터에 전류를 공급하는 전원 라인이 각 화소 열을 따라 배치되고,상기 전원 라인과 전기적 접속을 취하기 위한 하나의 콘택트가, 게이트 라인과 1개의 제어 라인의 사이에 형성되고, 또 하나의 콘택트가, 게이트 라인과 다른 하나의 제어 라인의 사이에 형성되는 표시 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 선택 트랜지스터와, 상기 전위 제어 트랜지스터는, 상기 게이트 라인과 상기 용량 세트 라인의 사이에 배치되고,상기 단락 트랜지스터와, 상기 구동 트랜지스터와, 상기 구동 제어 트랜지스터는, 상기 게이트 라인과 상기 발광 세트 라인의 사이에 배치되는 표시 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 용량과, 상기 전위 제어 트랜지스터는, 상기 게이트 라인과 상기 용량 세트 라인의 사이에 배치되는 표시 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 게이트 라인으로부터는, 한쪽에 상기 선택 트랜지스터의 게이트 전극이 돌출 형성되고, 다른 쪽에 상기 단락 트랜지스터의 게이트 전극이 돌출 형성되는 표시 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 단락 트랜지스터의 활성층을 형성하는 반도체 층은, 그대로 신장되어 상기 구동 제어 트랜지스터의 활성층에 접속되어 있는 표시 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 구동 트랜지스터와 상기 구동 제어 트랜지스터는, 메탈 배선을 통해 접속되는 표시 장치.
