Claims (6)
- 액정 분자가 스프레이 배향으로부터 벤드 배향으로 미리 전이되는 OCB 모드의 액정 표시 패널을 구동하는 표시 패널 구동 장치로서,이 액정 표시 패널에 접속되는 게이트 드라이버 및 소스 드라이버와,복수의 영상 신호용 기준 전압 및 상기 스프레이 배향으로의 역전이를 방지하여 상기 벤드 배향을 유지하는 비영상 신호로 되는 흑 삽입용 기준 전압을 상기 소스 드라이버에 공급하는 전압 공급 회로를 구비하고,상기 전압 공급 회로는 상기 영상 신호용 기준 전압과 흑 삽입용 기준 전압을 독립적으로 발생하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널 구동 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전압 공급 회로는 영상 신호용 기준 전압을 발생하는 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로와 흑 삽입용 기준 전압을 발생하는 흑 삽입 전압 제어 회로를 포함하며, 영상 신호용 기준 전압 및 흑 삽입용 기준 전압이 각각 상기 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로 및 상기 흑 삽입 전압 제어 회로로부터 독립적으로 상기 소스 드라이버로 출력되는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널 구동 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 전압 공급 회로는 상기 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로로부터 얻어지는 영상 신호용 기준 전압 및 상기 흑 삽입 전압 제어 회로로부터 얻어지는 흑 삽입용 기준 전압을 절환하는 절환 회로와, 상기 절환 회로로부터 얻어지는 전압을 분압하여 상 기 소스 드라이버에 출력하는 분압 저항 회로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널 구동 장치.
- 매트릭스 형태로 배치되며 각각 스프레이 배향으로부터 벤드 배향으로 미리 전이되는 액정 분자를 포함하는 화소군에 의해 화상을 표시하는 OCB 모드의 액정 표시 패널을 구동하는 표시 패널 구동 장치로서,1 수직 주사 기간에 영상 신호용 기입 및 상기 스프레이 배향으로의 역전이를 방지하여 상기 벤드 배향을 유지하는 비영상 신호용 기입을 서로 다른 행의 화소군에 대하여 순차적으로 행하는 드라이버 회로와, 상기 드라이버 회로에 의해 영상 신호로서 기입되는 전압을 제어하는 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로와, 상기 드라이버 회로에 의해 비영상 신호로서 기입되는 전압을 상기 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로로부터 독립적으로 제어하는 비영상 신호 전압 제어 회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시 패널 구동 장치.
- 매트릭스 형태로 배치되며 각각 스프레이 배향으로부터 벤드 배향으로 미리 전이되는 액정 분자를 포함하는 화소군에 의해 화상을 표시하는 OCB 모드의 액정 표시 패널과, 1 수직 주사 기간에 영상 신호용 기입 및 상기 스프레이 배향으로의 역전이를 방지하여 상기 벤드 배향을 유지하는 비영상 신호용 기입을 서로 다른 행의 화소군에 대하여 순차적으로 행하는 드라이버 회로와, 상기 드라이버 회로에 의해 영상 신호로서 기입되는 전압을 제어하는 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로와, 상기 드라이버 회로에 의해 비영상 신호로서 기입되는 전압을 상기 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로로부터 독립적으로 제어하는 비영상 신호 전압 제어 회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면 표시 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 영상 신호 전압 제어 회로는 상기 영상 신호로서 기입되는 전압의 범위를 주위 환경에 따라 변화시키도록 구성되며, 상기 비영상 신호 전압 제어 회로는 상기 비영상 신호로서 기입되는 전압을 상기 벤드 배향을 유지하는 소정 레벨 이상으로 설정하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면 표시 장치.
