- 실외기에 장착되는 압축기가 엔진으로 구동되고, 상기 엔진을 엔진 냉각 매체에 의해 냉각하는 엔진 냉각 장치를 구비한 공기 조화 장치에 있어서,상기 엔진 냉각 장치는, 상기 압축기의 흡입 냉매와 상기 엔진 냉각 매체를 열교환하는 열교환기와, 상기 엔진 냉각 매체의 열을 방출하는 방열기를 구비하고, 상기 열교환기와 상기 방열기를 상기 엔진 냉각 매체의 순환 경로에 병렬로 접속하고, 상기 열교환기에 상기 엔진 냉각 매체를 유도하는 제1 포트와, 상기 방열기에 상기 엔진 냉각 매체를 유도하는 제2 포트를 갖는 삼방 밸브를 구비하며,상기 삼방 밸브는 전동식 삼방 밸브이며, 상기 압축기의 냉매 흡입측 또는/및 냉매 토출측에 냉매의 압력을 검출하는 압력 센서를 설치하고, 이 압력 센서에 의한 검출 결과에 의거하여 상기 전동식 삼방 밸브의 밸브 개방도를 조정하는 밸브 개방도 조정 수단을 구비하고,상기 밸브 개방도 조정 수단은 통상의 냉방 운전시는 상기 방열기측에만 상기 엔진 냉각 매체를 유도하도록 상기 전동식 삼방 밸브의 밸브 개방도를 조정하고, 상기 압력 센서에 의한 검출의 결과, 소정의 하한 압력을 하회하는 경우의 냉방 운전시는, 상기 엔진 냉각 매체의 일부를 상기 열교환기측으로 유도하도록 상기 전동식 삼방 밸브의 밸브 개방도를 조정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기 조화 장치.
