Abstract
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for integrated treatment of garbage and livestock excretions by two stage anaerobic digestion are provided to recycle bio gases, etc. generated as a fuel by integrally mixing high concentrate organic wastes of garbage and livestock excretions and wastes generated from livestock farms. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a solid waste storage tank(2) for storing solid waste; a liquid livestock excretion storage tank(8) separately installed from the solid waste storage tank(2) to store liquid livestock excretions; a shredder(4) for breaking bags of the solid waste from the solid waste storage tank(2) and coarsely crushing the solid waste; a crusher(7) for finely crushing and sorting the waste from the shredder(4); a mixing tank(10) for homogenizing the mixture by mixing the solid waste from the crusher(7) with the liquid waste from the liquid livestock excretion storage tank(8); a process water storage tank(12) for supplying process water into the crusher(7) or mixing tank(10); synthetic miscellaneous material gravity sorters(16,17,18) for gravitationally separating the homogenized waste from the mixing tank(10); acid fermentation tank(22) and methane fermentation tank(26) arranged in series to treat the gravitational separation completed waste by mesophilic two stage anaerobic digestion; a gas storage tank(30) for collecting bio gases generated from the acid fermentation tank(22) and methane fermentation tank(26); and a humus buffer tank(34) into which sludge from the acid fermentation tank(22) and methane fermentation tank(26) is flown to be stored therein.
