Claims (5)
- 픽셀의 어레이를 구동하기 위한 칼럼 구동 회로를 포함하는 엘씨디에서, 입력된 데이터에 따라 일정한 아날로그 신호를 출력하는 데이터 처리부와, 그 데이터 처리부에서 출력된 아날로그 신호를 입력받아 픽셀을 구동하기 위한 아날로그 전압을 칼럼라인에 출력하는 구동부와, 제1, 제2 제어신호에 의해 구동부의 출력단자, 서로 반대되는 극성을 갖는 제1, 제2 전압이 각각 인가되는 제1, 제2 선구동단자 또는 공통라인에 연결된 전하분배단자를 픽셀에 선택적으로 연결하는 제어부를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디의 칼럼 구동 장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1, 제2 전압은 입력되는 데이터에 따라 구동되어야할 각각의 양의 극성 전압 또는 음의 극성 전압과 그 양의 극성 전압 및 음의 극성 전압의 중간전압 사이의 임의의 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디의 칼럼 구동 장치.
- 픽셀의 어레이를 구동하기 위한 칼럼 구동 회로를 포함하는 엘씨디에서,모든 픽셀을 공통라인에 연결하여 전하분배 하는 제1 과정과,이전 프레임에서 구동된 픽셀의 극성에 따라 외부 바이어스 전압인 제1,제2 선구동 전압으로 선구동하는 제2 과정과,입력된 데이터에 따라 픽셀을 구동하는 제3 과정을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디의 칼럼 구동 방법.
- 제3 항에 있어서, 상기 각 과정은 제1, 제2 제어신호의 상태에 따라 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디의 칼럼 구동 방법.
- 제3 항에 있어서, 상기 제1,제2 선구동전압은 현재 프레임에서 구동되어야 할 픽셀이 갖게되는 양의 극성 전압과 음의 극성 전압의 중간값과 각각 그 양의 극성 전압 또는 음의 극성 전압 사이의 임의의 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 엘씨디의 칼럼 구동 방법.
