Claims (11)
- 미생물 증식의 부산물에 노출되어 반사 특성의 변화를 나타내는 지시제(indicator)를 모니터하는 기기로서, a) 상기 노출시 지시제를 수용하고 이 지시제를 원하는 방향으로 배치하는 하우징(housing) : b) 상기 지시제의 반사 특성의 스펙트럼 범위내로 시그날을 방출하고, 이 시그날의 상기 지시제에 부딪치도록 지시제와 관련하여 배치한 방출기 : c) 상기 지시제로부터 상기 시그날의 반사를 수용하고 그것에 대응하는 두 번째 시그날을 산출하기 위해 상기 지시제와 관련하여 배치한 검출기 : 및 d) 상기두번째 시그날을 수용하고 이 두 번째 시그날을 처리하여 상기 지시제의 반사 특성 변화를 평가하는 회로 수단을 포함하는 기기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방출기는 발광 다이오우드(diode)를 포함하는 기기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 검출기는 상기 발광 다이오우드의 방출 광의 반사광을 수용하는 광 다이오우드를 포함하는 기기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 회로 수단은 상기 발광 다이오우드에 대한 안정화된 전원을 포함하는 기기.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 회로 수단은 선택된 시간 간격으로 상기 두 번째 시그날을 수용하고 상기 시간 간격 동안 상기 두 번째 시그날의 특성 변화를 비교하는 컴퓨터 수단을 포함하는 기기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 회로 수단은 상기 두 번째 시그날을 주기적으로 샘플링하고, 상기 두 번째 시그날을 연속 샘플을 비교하고, 연속 샘플 사이의 변화율의 증가 속도를 계산하는 컴퓨터 수단을 포함하는 기기.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨터 수단은 양의 증가 속도를 검출하고 상기 양의 증가 속도의 지속시간을 측정하는 수단을 포함하는 기기.
- 미생물 증식의 부산물에 노출되어 반사 특성 변화를 나타내는 지시제를 모니터하는 방법으로서, a) 상기 노출중 지시제를 수용하고 사기 지시제를 원하는 방향으로 배치하는 하우징을 제공하는 단계; b) 상기 지시제의 반사 특성의 스펙트럼 범위내로 시그날을 방출하고, 이 시그날의 상기 지시제에 부딪치도록 지시제와 관련하여 배치한 방출기를 제공하는 단계; c) 상기 지시제로부터 상기 시그날의 반사를 수용하고 그것에 대응하는 두 번째 시그날을 산출하기 위해 상기 지시제와 관련하여 배치한 검출기를 제공하는 단계; 및 d) 상기 두 번째 시그날을 수용하고, 이 두 번째 시그날을 처리하여 상기 지시제와 반사 특성 변화를 평가하는 회로 수단을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 선택된 시간 간격으로 상기 두 번째 시그날을 수용하는 단계; 및 상기 시간 간격동안 상기 두 번째 시그날의 특성 변화를 비교하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 상기 두 번째 시그날을 주기적으로 샘프링하는 단계; 상기 두 번째 시그날의 연속 샘플을 비교하는 단계; 및 연속 샘플 사이의 변화율의 증가 속도를 계산하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
