Claims (11)
- 1.マイクロバクテリア増殖の副産物に晒されるとその反射特性が変化するイン ジケーターを監視する装置であって、前記副産物に晒す間インジケーターを受容 し、かつインジケーターを所望の向きに位置決めするハウジングと、インジケー ターの反射特性のスペクトル範囲内の信号を発生する、発生信号がインジケータ ーに当たるようにインジケーターに対して位置決めされた信号発生器と、前記信 号のインジケーターからの反射を感知してそれに対応する第二の信号を生成する ようにインジケーターに対して位置決めされた信号検出器と、 前記第二の信号を受信及び処理してインジケーターの反射特性の変化を評価する 回路手段と を含む装置。
- 2.信号発生器が発光ダイオードを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置 。
- 3.信号検出器が発光ダイオードの放射光の反射を受け取るホトダイオードを含 むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- 4.回路手段が発光ダイオードのための安定電流源を含むことを特徴とする請求 項2に記載の装置。
- 5.回路手段が 第二の信号を選択された時間間隔で受信し、かつ当該時間間隔の中で第二の信号 の特性に生じる何等かの変化を比較する計算手段 を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 6.回路手段が、第二の信号を周期的にサンプリングし、第二の信号の連続する サンプル同士を比較して連続するサンアル同士の間での変化の速度の増加率を計 算する計算手段を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 7.計算手段が、正の増加率を検出して正の増加率の持続時間を測定する手段を 含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の装置。
- 8.マイクロバクテリア増殖の副産物に晒されるとその反射特性が変化するイン ジケーターを監視する方法であって、前記副産物に晒す間インジケーターを受容 し、かつインジケーターを所望の向きに位置決めするハウジングを用意するステ ップと、 インジケーターの反射特性のスペクトル範囲内の信号を発生する、発生信号がイ ンジケーターに当たるようにインジケーターに対して位置決めされた信号発生器 を用意するステップと、 前記信号のインジケーターからの反射を感知してそれに対応する第二の信号を生 成するようにインジケーターに対して位置決めされた信号検出器を用意するステ ップと、前記第二の信号を受信及び処理してインジケーターの反射特性の変化を 評価する回路手段を用意するステップとを含む方法。
- 9.第二の信号を選択された時間間隔で交信するステップ、及び 当該時間間隔の中で第二の信号の特性に生じる何等かの変化を比較するステップ をも含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 10.第二の信号を周期的にサンプリングするステップ、第二の信号の連続する サンプル同士を比較するステップ、及び 連続するサンプル同士の間での変化の速度の増加率を計算するステップ をも含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 11.正の増加率を検出するステッア、及び正の増加率の持続時間を測定するス テップをも含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
