Abstract
Description
まず、表1〜3に記載のガラス組成になるように原料を調合して原料バッチを得た。得られた原料バッチをガラス溶融炉に供給して1300〜1500℃で溶融した。次に、一対の冷却ローラー間に流し出すことによりフィルム状に成形した。得られたフィルム状のガラスをボールミルで乾式粉砕して、平均粒子径D50が6〜9μmのガラス粉末を得た。また、溶融ガラスの一部をカーボン板の上に流し出して平板状に成形した後、所定のアニール処理を行うことによりバルク状ガラスを得た。
表1〜3に記載の通り、各ガラス粉末に蛍光体粉末を所定量で混合して混合粉末を得た。混合粉末を金型で加圧成型して直径1cmの円柱状予備成型体を作製した。この予備成型体を表に記載の温度で焼成することにより波長変換部材を得た。

Claims (8)
- ガラスマトリクス中に蛍光体粉末が分散してなる波長変換部材であって、
ガラスマトリクスの屈折率(nd)が1.6以上、液相温度が1070℃以下であることを特徴とする波長変換部材。 - ガラスマトリクスが、質量%で、SiO2 25〜50%、Al2O3 0.1〜8%、B2O3 0超〜15%、MgO 0〜10%、CaO 0〜15%、SrO 0〜15%、BaO 0.1〜50%、ZnO 0〜20%、ZrO2 0〜10%、Nb2O5 0〜5%、TiO2 2.1〜15%、La2O3 0.1〜15%を含有し、(TiO2+La2O3)/B2O3が0.5以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の波長変換部材。
- ガラスマトリクス中のLi2O+Na2O+K2Oの含有量が0〜5%であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の波長変換部材。
- ガラスマトリクス中のSb2O3の含有量が0.2%未満であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- 蛍光体粉末が、窒化物蛍光体、酸窒化物蛍光体、酸化物蛍光体、硫化物蛍光体、酸硫化物蛍光体、ハロゲン化物蛍光体及びアルミン酸塩蛍光体から選択される少なくとも一種であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- 蛍光体粉末を0.01〜70体積%含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- ガラス粉末と蛍光体粉末を含む混合物の焼結体からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材、及び、
波長変換部材に励起光を照射する光源、
を備えてなることを特徴とする発光装置。
