Abstract
Description
−第1の実施の形態−
図1は、電池制御装置(BMU:Battery Management Unit)1を有する電池制御システムの構成の一例を示す図である。図1に示す電池制御システムには、電池制御装置1、上位コントローラ100、高電圧電池102、高電圧リレー群120を備えている。なお、高電圧電池102は、外部装置であるインバータ130およびチャージャー131と接続される。
例えば、高電圧リレー5をメインプラスリレー121とした場合には、リレードライバ11はFET141を表している。高電圧リレー5には、高電圧電池側配線3および負荷側配線4が接続されている。高電圧電池側配線3は図1の配線110,111のいずれかに対応し、負荷側配線4は図1の配線110−1,110−2,110−3,111−1,111−2のいずれかに対応している。
まず、図3に示す第二の切断処理機能の第1の例について説明する。ここでは、正常動作中(1001)において、マイコン9のリセット信号22がHigh側に固着する(1002)という異常が発生した場合の切断処理について説明する。この場合、電源IC6内の診断回路23がリセット信号22のHigh固着を検知し、電源IC6内のフラグをセットする(1003)。なお、診断回路23におけるリセット信号22のHigh固着を検知する方法の詳細は後述する。
次に、図4を参照して第二の切断処理機能の第2の例について説明する。第2の例も、正常動作中(1001)において、マイコン9のリセット信号22がHigh側に固着する(1002)という異常が発生した場合の切断処理である。図3の場合と同様に、電源IC6内の診断回路23がリセット信号22のHigh固着を検知し、電源IC6内のフラグをセットする(1003)。
図5は、電源IC6によるリセット信号22のHigh固着検知の一例を説明する図である。電源IC6内には、リセット信号22をLowレベルへ駆動するためのドライバ501が設けられている。診断回路23には、リセット信号22がHigh固着していないか試すための診断用ドライバ502、および、診断用ドライバ502に流れる電流を検出するための電流検出抵抗503が設けられている。診断回路23は、所定のインターバルで診断処理を実行する。

(1)電池制御装置1は、二次電池である高電圧電池102と、図1に示すインバータ130との電気的接続をオン/オフする高電圧リレー5と、電池制御装置1の異常時に高電圧リレー5をオフさせる第一の切断処理機能、および、第一の切断処理機能の異常を検知して高電圧リレー5をオフさせる第二の切断処理機能を有する図2の電源IC6およびマイコン9と、を備える。
なお、インバータ130は外部装置であり、高電圧リレー5はスイッチ部であり、電源IC6およびマイコン9は切断制御部である。
図7は、電池制御装置の第2の実施の形態を示す図である。上述した第1および第2の例で示した第二の切断処理機能では、リセット信号22を利用した第一の切断処理機能に異常が生じた場合に、マイコン9の指示により、または、マイコン9の動作が停止することにより高電圧リレー5をOFFするようにした。一方、以下に説明する第2の実施の形態では、第一の切断処理機能に異常が生じた場合には、電源IC6のフェールセーフ信号30を使用してマイコン9を介さずに高電圧リレー5をOFFするようにした。
なお、第1の切断処理機能の異常は、たとえば、リセット信号22のHigh固着である。
さらに、第2の実施の形態では、マイコン9を介さずに高電圧リレー5をOFFすることで、電池システムを安全な状態へ移行させることができる。
また、ハードウェアによる実行が支配的であるため、第1の実施の形態の場合と比べてマイコンプログラムがシンプルになる。さらにまた、マイコン9による判断が入らないため、第1の実施の形態の場合と比べて安全状態へ移行しやすい。
Claims (7)
- 電池と外部装置との電気的接続をオン/オフするスイッチ部と、
電池制御装置の異常時に前記スイッチ部をオフさせる第一の切断処理機能、および、前記第一の切断処理機能の異常を検知して前記スイッチ部をオフさせる第二の切断処理機能を有する切断制御部と、を備え、
前記電池を監視し制御する電池制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記切断制御部は、前記電池の過充電および過放電を検知するマイコンと、前記マイコンを監視するマイコン監視装置と、を備え、
前記第二の切断処理機能として、前記マイコン監視装置が前記第一の切断処理機能の異常を検知してフラグをセットし、前記マイコンが前記フラグを検知して前記スイッチ部をオフ動作させる、電池制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記切断制御部は、前記電池の過充電および過放電を検知するマイコンと、前記マイコンを監視するマイコン監視装置と、を備え、
前記マイコン監視装置は、前記第二の切断処理機能として、前記マイコンへの電源供給を停止させる、電池制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記切断制御部は、前記電池の過充電および過放電を検知するマイコンと、前記マイコンを監視するマイコン監視装置と、を備え、
前記マイコン監視装置は、前記第二の切断処理機能として、前記第一の切断処理機能の異常を検知し、前記マイコンを介さずに前記スイッチ部をオフ動作させる、電池制御装置。 - 請求項2から請求項4までのいずれか一項に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記第一の切断処理機能の異常は、前記マイコンをリセットするためのリセット信号の異常である、電池制御装置。 - 請求項5に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記リセット信号は、前記マイコン監視装置が前記第一の切断処理機能の異常を検出したときに前記マイコンへ送信され、
前記リセット信号を受信した前記マイコンは前記スイッチ部をオフさせる、電池制御装置。 - 請求項2から請求項6までのいずれか一項に記載の電池制御装置において、
前記マイコン監視装置は前記マイコンへ電源を供給する電源ICである、電池制御装置。
