Claims (5)
- 少なくとも発進及び停止を運転者の操作によらずに行なう自動運転を実行する車両を制御する車両制御方法において、
前記自動運転の実行中に交差点に進入する際に、
自車が走行する車線と対向又は交差する車線上に前記交差点に接近する他車があるか否かを、当該他車の前照灯の光の見え方に基づいて判断し、
当該判断の結果に基づいて自車を発進又は停止させる、車両制御方法。 - 請求項1に記載の車両制御方法において、
前記他車の前照灯の光が強まる場合に、前記交差点に接近する他車があると判断する、車両制御方法。 - 請求項1または2に記載の車両制御方法において、
前記交差点に進入する前に前記自車を停止させ、かつ動力源を停止させ、
前記交差点に接近する他車があると判断した場合には、前記動力源を再始動させない、車両制御方法。 - 請求項3に記載の車両制御方法において、
前記交差点に接近する他車があると判断した場合でも、当該他車の進路が前記自車の進路と交差も一致もしないときには、前記動力源を再始動させる、車両制御方法。 - 少なくとも発進及び停止を運転者の操作によらずに行なう自動運転を実行する自動運転制御部と、
自車の外界の状況を検知する外界検知部と、
を備え、
前記自動運転制御部が、前記自動運転の実行中に交差点に進入する際に、前記外界検知部によって、自車が走行する車線と対向又は交差する車線上に、前記交差点に接近する他車があるか否かを判断する車両制御装置において、
前記自動運転制御部は、前記外界検知部により前記他車の車体を認識できない場合には、検知した光の見え方に基づいて前記他車の有無を判断し、判断結果に基づいて車両を発進又は停止させる、車両制御装置。
