Attached glass plate 1. The optical film 3 includes a protrusion 3a that protrudes outward beyond the end of the main surface 2a of the glass plate 2.
Description
The present invention relates to a glass plate with an optical film and a method for manufacturing the same.
Since the spectral sensitivity of solid-state image sensors such as CCD and CMOS used in digital still cameras and video cameras has strong sensitivity to light in the near-infrared region, the spectral sensitivity of these solid-state image sensors is the human visual sensitivity. A luminosity factor is generally used to match the characteristics.
As the luminosity factor correcting member, for example, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, a glass plate with an optical film having an optical film having an infrared shielding function formed on the main surface of the glass plate is used. Further, in order to prevent reflection on the surface of the glass plate, an optical film having an antireflection function may be formed.
By the way, with the miniaturization of the solid-state image sensor, the miniaturization of the glass plate with an optical film used is also being promoted. Therefore, in order to effectively utilize the limited area, the glass plate with an optical film is often required to have uniform optical characteristics up to the vicinity of the edge of the main surface of the glass plate.
However, a glass plate with an optical film is usually manufactured by forming an optical film on the main surface of the original glass plate of a large plate and then cutting it to a predetermined size with a dicing device, and the edge of the main surface of the glass plate. The optical film is likely to peel off due to cutting in the vicinity of the portion. If the optical film is not formed near the edge of the main surface of the glass plate due to such film peeling, the required optical characteristics cannot be sufficiently realized, and the performance of the glass plate with the optical film deteriorates. There is a risk.
An object of the present invention is to provide a glass plate with an optical film in which an optical film is surely formed in the vicinity of an end portion of a main surface of the glass plate.
The present invention, which was devised to solve the above problems, is formed on a glass plate having a pair of front and back main surfaces and an end surface connecting the ends of each of the pair of main surfaces, and at least one main surface of the glass plate. The glass plate with an optical film provided with the optical film is characterized in that the optical film includes a protrusion portion that protrudes outward beyond the end portion of the main surface of the glass plate. According to such a configuration, the optical film is formed in a wider range than the main surface of the glass plate by the protruding portion, so that the optical film is surely formed in the vicinity of the end portion of the main surface of the glass plate. It is formed. Since the protruding portion is in a state of protruding outward, it becomes difficult for other members to come into direct contact with the end surface of the glass plate. Therefore, the effect of reducing dust generation and breakage from the end face of the glass plate can be expected.
In the above configuration, the end face of the glass plate may be chamfered, and the end face may have a portion located outside the protruding portion of the optical film.
In the above configuration, the optical film is preferably at least one of an antireflection film, an infrared shielding film, an ultraviolet shielding film, and an ultraviolet ray and an infrared shielding film. In this case, as the optical film, for example, a dielectric multilayer film formed by alternately laminating high refractive index layers and low refractive index layers can be used.
In the above configuration, it is preferable that the glass plate contains 25% or more of P 2 O 5 in mass% by mass.
In the above configuration, it is preferable that the protrusion dimension of the protrusion portion of the optical film is 1 μm to 0.1 mm.
The present invention, which was devised to solve the above problems, is formed on a glass plate having a pair of front and back main surfaces and an end surface connecting the ends of each of the pair of main surfaces, and at least one main surface of the glass plate. It is a method of manufacturing a glass plate with an optical film provided with an optical film, wherein a film forming step of forming an optical film on at least one main surface of the glass plate and at least an end face of the glass plate on which the optical film is formed are formed. The glass plate is made of phosphate-based glass, and the etching solution is an alkaline detergent, which comprises an etching step of contacting with an etching solution to perform etching. According to such a configuration, in the etching step, only the glass plate reacts with the etching solution, and the optical film does not react with the etching solution. As a result, focusing on the end portion of the glass plate, only the end portion of the glass plate is removed by the etching solution, and the optical film remains in a state of protruding outward beyond the end portion of the main surface of the glass plate. Therefore, since the optical film is formed in a wider range than the main surface of the glass plate by this protruding portion, the optical film is surely formed in the vicinity of the end portion of the main surface of the glass plate.
In the above configuration, it is preferable that the etching solution contains an alkaline salt of a chelating agent as an alkaline component, and the glass plate on which the optical film is formed is immersed in the etching solution in the etching step.
In the above configuration, it is preferable to further include a cutting step of cutting the glass plate and a chamfering step of chamfering the end face of the glass plate after the film forming step and before the etching step.
In this case, the cutting step may also serve as the chamfering step, and the chamfering may be performed at the same time as cutting the glass plate.
In the above configuration, the optical film may be formed only on one main surface of the glass plate.
In the above configuration, the optical film may be formed on both main surfaces of the glass plate.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a glass plate with an optical film in which an optical film is surely formed in the vicinity of the edge of the main surface of the glass plate.

The following shows an example in which the
It is desirable that the phosphate-based glass used for the
As such a phosphate-based glass, for example, a glass containing 25% by mass or more of P 2 O 5 can be used. Specifically, in terms of mass%, P 2 O 5 25-60%, Al 2 O 3 2-19%, RO (where R is at least one selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba) 5-45. %, ZnO 0~13%, K 2 O 8~20%, Na 2 O 0~12%, and contains 0.3 to 20% CuO, is substantially free from fluorine, be used glass it can.
P 2 O 5 is a component that forms a glass skeleton. The content of P 2 O 5 is mass%, preferably 25 to 60%, more preferably 30 to 55%, still more preferably 40 to 50%. If the content of P 2 O 5 is too low, vitrification may become unstable. On the other hand, if the content of P 2 O 5 is too large, the weather resistance may easily decrease.
Al 2 O 3 is a component that further improves weather resistance. The content of A1 2 O 3 is mass%, preferably 2 to 19%, more preferably 2 to 15%, still more preferably 2.8 to 14.5%, and particularly preferably 3. It is .5 to 14.0%. If the Al 2 O 3 content is too low, the weather resistance may not be sufficient. On the other hand, if the content of Al 2 O 3 is too large, the meltability may decrease and the melting temperature may rise. When the melting temperature rises, Cu ions are reduced and it becomes easy to shift from Cu 2+ to Cu + , so that it may be difficult to obtain desired optical characteristics. Specifically, the light transmittance in the near-ultraviolet to visible region may decrease, or the infrared absorption characteristic may easily decrease.
RO(ただしRは、Mg、Ca、Sr及びBaから選択される少なくとも一種)は、耐候性を改善するとともに、溶融性を向上させる成分である。 RO (where R is at least one selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba) is a component that improves weather resistance and meltability. The content of RO is mass%, preferably 5 to 45%, more preferably 7 to 40%, and even more preferably 10 to 35%. If the RO content is too low, the weather resistance and meltability may not be sufficient. On the other hand, if the content of RO is too large, the stability of the glass tends to decrease, and crystals due to the RO component may easily precipitate.
The preferable range of the content of each component of RO is as follows.
MgO is a component that improves weather resistance. The content of MgO is mass%, preferably 0 to 15%, and more preferably 0 to 7%. If the MgO content is too high, the stability of the glass may easily decrease.
CaO is a component that improves weather resistance like MgO. The CaO content is mass%, preferably 0 to 15%, more preferably 0 to 7%. If the CaO content is too high, the stability of the glass may easily decrease.
SrO is a component that improves weather resistance like MgO. The content of SrO is mass%, preferably 0 to 12%, and more preferably 0 to 5%. If the content of SrO is too high, the stability of the glass may easily decrease.
BaO is a component that stabilizes glass and improves weather resistance. The content of BaO is mass%, preferably 1 to 30%, more preferably 2 to 27%, still more preferably 3 to 25%. If the content of BaO is too small, the glass may not be sufficiently stabilized or the weather resistance may not be sufficiently improved. On the other hand, if the content of BaO is too large, crystals derived from BaO may easily precipitate during molding.
ZnO is a component that improves the stability and weather resistance of glass. The content of ZnO is mass%, preferably 0 to 13%, more preferably 0 to 12%, and even more preferably 0 to 10%. If the content of ZnO is too large, the meltability is lowered and the melting temperature is raised, and as a result, it may be difficult to obtain desired optical characteristics. In addition, the stability of the glass may decrease, and crystals due to the ZnO component may easily precipitate.
As described above, RO and ZnO have an effect of improving the stabilization of glass, and it is easy to enjoy the effect especially when P 2 O 5 is small.
The ratio of the content of P 2 O 5 with respect to RO (P 2 O 5 / RO) is preferably 1.0 to 1.9, more preferably 1.2 to 1.8. If the ratio (P 2 O 5 / RO) is too small, the liquidus temperature may rise and devitrification due to RO may easily precipitate. On the other hand, if P 2 O 5 / RO is too large, the weather resistance may easily decrease.
K 2 O is a component that lowers the melting temperature. The content of K 2 O is mass%, preferably 8 to 20%, and more preferably 12.5 to 19.5%. If the K 2 O content is too low, the melting temperature may rise and it may be difficult to obtain the desired optical characteristics. On the other hand, if the content of K 2 O is too large, crystals derived from K 2 O are likely to precipitate during molding, and vitrification may become unstable.
Like K 2 O, Na 2 O is also a component that lowers the melting temperature. The content of Na 2 O is mass%, preferably 0 to 12%, and more preferably 0 to 7%. If the Na 2 O content is too high, vitrification may become unstable.
CuO is a component for absorbing near infrared rays. The content of CuO is mass%, preferably 0.3 to 20%, more preferably 0.3 to 15%, and even more preferably 0.4 to 13%. If the CuO content is too low, the desired near-infrared absorption characteristics may not be obtained. On the other hand, if the content of CuO is too large, the light transmittance in the ultraviolet to visible region may be easily lowered. In addition, vitrification may become unstable. The CuO content for obtaining desired optical characteristics is preferably adjusted appropriately depending on the plate thickness.
In addition to the above components, B 2 O 3 , Nb 2 O 5 , Y 2 O 3 , La 2 O 3 , Ta 2 O 5 , CeO 2 or Sb 2 O 3 are within the range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. It may be contained in. Specifically, the content of each of these components is mass%, preferably 0 to 3%, and more preferably 0 to 2%.

In the present embodiment, the

The protruding

The thickness of the

When the
As the alkaline component contained in the alkaline detergent, it is preferable that an alkaline salt of a chelating agent such as aminopolycarboxylic acid is contained. Examples of the alkaline salt of the aminopolycarboxylic acid include sodium salts and potassium salts such as diethylenetriaminepentacetic acid, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, triethylenetetraaminehexacetic acid and nitrilotriacetic acid. Among these, diethylenetriamine pentaacetate pentasodium, ethylenediaminetetraacetate tetrasodium, triethylenetetraamine hexaacetic acid hexasodium, and nitrilotriacetate trisodium are preferably used, and diethylenetriamine pentaacetate pentasodium is particularly preferably used.
The etching solution E reacts with the
The thickness t2 removed in the plane direction by etching is preferably 1 μm to 0.1 mm, and more preferably 3 μm to 20 μm. It is preferable that the removed thickness t2 substantially coincides with the protrusion dimension t1 of the
In this manufacturing method, since both
(Second Embodiment)
As shown in FIG. 6, the difference between the glass plate 1 with an optical film according to the second embodiment and the glass plate 1 with an optical film according to the first embodiment is that the
The
When the chamfered
In the present embodiment, the chamfered

Next, a method for manufacturing the
This manufacturing method includes a film forming step, a cutting step, a chamfering step, and an etching step in this order. In the present embodiment, an example is shown in which the cutting step also serves as a chamfering step and chamfering is also performed in the process of cutting the original
In the film forming step, the original
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the cutting step is a first step of cutting the
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the
As shown in FIG. 9, the
In the first step, first, as shown in FIG. 7, one
Of course, the chamfering step may be performed as another step after the cutting step is completed. In this case, as shown in FIG. 10, the chamfering step can be performed by using the
As shown in FIG. 11, in the etching step, the
The thickness t4 removed in the plane direction by etching is preferably 1 μm to 0.1 mm, and more preferably 3 μm to 20 μm. It is preferable that the removed thickness t4 substantially coincides with the protrusion dimension t3 of the
(Third Embodiment)
As shown in FIG. 12, the difference between the glass plate 1 with an optical film according to the third embodiment and the glass plate 1 with an optical film according to the first embodiment and the second embodiment is that the protruding

The method for manufacturing the
As shown in FIG. 13, in the film forming step, the
In the cutting step, one or a plurality of
As shown in FIG. 14, in the etching step, the
The thickness t6 removed in the plane direction by etching is preferably 1 μm to 0.1 mm, and more preferably 3 μm to 20 μm. It is preferable that the removed thickness t6 substantially coincides with the protrusion dimension t5 of the

In the above embodiment, in the cutting step, the cut portion of the original glass plate laminate may be irradiated with a laser while injecting gas, and the cut portion may be laser-cut. In this case, by adjusting the injection amount and injection direction of the gas, the cut end surface can be processed into a convex curved surface (for example, an arc surface). Therefore, even if such laser cutting is used, chamfering can be performed at the same time as cutting.
In the above embodiment, instead of immersing the entire glass plate laminate in the etching solution, for example, the etching solution is applied to a part of the glass plate (for example, the end face) contained in the glass plate laminate by coating or the like.
