Abstract
Description
本発明の注意喚起装置は、自車両と実景中の対象物(前方障害物)との相対速度または相対距離に応じて、通常、車両前方の実景中の対象物に関連づけて虚像を表示する標準表示位置よりも鉛直方向上側または/および奥行き方向の奥側に虚像を表示することで、運転者に注意喚起する虚像が、通常の注意喚起する虚像が表示される位置よりも実質的に奥側にあるように視認される。この結果、通常よりも対象物に近づいてしまっていること、通常よりも対象物に近づいてしまっているように運転者に認識させることができ、運転者に早めの運転操作あるいは充分な操作量の運転操作を促すことができ、前方障害物との衝突を予防できる、ことを要旨としている。

- 車両前方の実景(3)中の対象物(W)に関連付けられ、前記対象物に対して注意を向けさせる虚像(V)を表示する虚像表示部(20)と、
前記虚像表示部が表示する前記虚像の表示位置を調整する表示制御部(30)と、
前記対象物の位置を取得する対象物位置取得手段(33,35,37)と、を備え、
前記表示制御部は、前記対象物の位置に応じて決定される標準表示位置(50n)に前記虚像を表示する通常表示処理と、前記標準表示位置の鉛直方向上側または/および奥行き方向の奥側に位置する補正表示位置(50c)に前記虚像を表示させる強調表示処理と、を実行する、
