Claims (10)
- 薄鋼板の重ねられた上材と下材を電極間に挟んで溶接を行うスポット溶接において、前記上材と下材の相互の位置合わせに利用されるとともに溶接に供される突起を設けるスポット溶接方法であって、
前記突起は、前記上材と下材とに設けられて係合し、それぞれ円錐台形状の勾配が45〜70°で底面が開口し、その開口部の外径が前記電極の外径よりも小さく絞り加工により形成されてなるスポット溶接方法。 - 上材の突起の頂部下面と下材の突起の頂部上面が中央部分においてのみ当接するよう、当該上材頂部下面及び当該下材頂部上面当接部の形状が形成されていることを特徴とする
請求項1に記載のスポット溶接方法。 - 前記当接部における前記上材の突起の頂部下面形状が平面または球面状の彎曲形状で構成され、一方前記下材の突起の頂部上面の形状が前記上材頂部下面の湾曲形状に比して曲率半径の小さな球面状の彎曲形状で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のスポット溶接方法。
- 突起の高さは、1.5〜2.4mmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のスポット溶接方法。
- 突起は、薄鋼板の伸び率が30〜10%になるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のスポット溶接方法。
- 係合する突起は、下材に設けた突起が所定の隙間を有して上材に設けた突起に入り込むように設けられた少なくとも主基準突起と副基準突起からなる2以上の突起により構成され、当該主基準突起と当該副基準突起の中心を結ぶ方向をX軸、該方向に垂直な方向をY軸として、X軸方向とY軸方向に隙間Sを有する一組の主基準突起と、X軸方向には隙間Sより大きい隙間Dを有しY軸方向には隙間Sを有する一組の副基準突起を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のスポット溶接方法。
- さらに、上材の一部が、下材のスポット溶接を行う平面とは略垂直な平面と少なくとも一箇所において当接し、上材と下材の相互の位置決めをガイドするような形状ガイドを設けたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のスポット溶接方法。
- 形状ガイドは、主基準突起と副基準突起の中心を結んだ方向とは垂直な方向の動きを規制するように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のスポット溶接方法。
- 係合する突起は、JIS B0408の規定に準じた加工精度に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載のスポット溶接方法。
- 薄鋼板の重ねられた上材と下材を電極間に挟んで行うスポット溶接により形成されたスポット溶接継手であって、そのスポット溶接継手部分の一方の面が凸形状を成し、他方の面が凹形状を成し、前記凸形状のバリ高さが非スポット溶接継手平面部から0.5mm以下となるよう形成されたスポット溶接継手。
