Abstract
Description
Claims (5)
- 金属層の表面に合成樹脂層がラミネートされたラミネートフィルムからなる袋状の外装体の内部に発電要素が電解液とともに密封された矩形偏平形状をなすフィルム外装電池の製造方法であって、
縁辺が封止ラインに沿って封止された2枚のラミネートフィルムに対し、穿孔刃を上記ラミネートフィルムの主面直交方向に沿って移動させることによって、この穿孔刃を上記2枚のラミネートフィルムに貫通させて穿孔を形成した後、この穿孔刃を上記ラミネートフィルムの表面と平行な所定の進行方向に移動させることによって、上記2枚のラミネートフィルムの上記封止ラインよりも内側部分に所定長さのガス抜き用の開口部を形成する開口形成工程を有し、
上記穿孔刃は、その刃先側が直線状の第1傾斜部及び第2傾斜部により三角形状をなし、少なくとも上記進行方向側に位置する第1傾斜部に刃が形成され、
上記第1傾斜部とラミネートフィルムの表面とのなす第1角度が、90度より小さく、かつ、上記進行方向と反対側に位置する第2傾斜部とラミネートフィルムの表面とのなす第2角度よりも小さいフィルム外装電池の製造方法。 - 上記穿孔刃は、上記第1傾斜部と第2傾斜部の双方に刃が形成された両刃である請求項1に記載のフィルム外装電池の製造方法。
- 上記第2角度がほぼ90度である請求項1又は2に記載のフィルム外装電池の製造方法。
- 上記穿孔刃の刃先部分に、上記ラミネートフィルムの表面とほぼ平行な所定長さのランド部が形成されている請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のフィルム外装電池の製造方法。
- 金属層の表面に合成樹脂層がラミネートされたラミネートフィルムからなる外装体の内部に発電要素が電解液とともに密封された矩形偏平形状をなす袋状のフィルム外装電池の製造に用いられる穿孔刃であって、
この穿孔刃は、縁辺が封止ラインに沿って封止された2枚のラミネートフィルムの上記封止ラインよりも内側部分に、ガス抜き用の所定長さの開口部を形成するものであって、上記ラミネートフィルムの主面直交方向に沿って移動されることで、上記2枚のラミネートフィルムを貫通して穿孔を形成可能であるとともに、上記ラミネートフィルムの主面と平行な所定の進行方向に移動させることによって、上記所定長さの開口部を形成可能であり、
かつ、上記穿孔刃は、その刃先側が直線状の第1傾斜部及び第2傾斜部により三角形状をなし、少なくとも上記進行方向側に位置する第1傾斜部に刃が形成され、
上記第1傾斜部とラミネートフィルムの表面とのなす第1角度が、90度より小さく、かつ、上記進行方向と反対側に位置する第2傾斜部とラミネートフィルムの表面とのなす第2角度よりも小さい穿孔刃。
