Abstract
Description
Claims (4)
- 内燃機関の排気通路において触媒装置の下流側に配置された排気センサの劣化を診断する装置であって、
内燃機関の吸入空気量に応じて、該吸入空気量が大きいほど大となる特性でもって吸入空気量積算閾値を設定する閾値設定手段と、
診断開始時点から吸入空気量を積算していき、該積算値が上記吸入空気量積算閾値に達したときに診断期間を終了する診断期間設定手段と、
この診断期間における上記排気センサの出力反転回数に基づいて上記排気センサの劣化を判定する劣化判定手段と、
を備えてなる排気センサの劣化診断装置。 - 上記閾値設定手段は、所定の時間間隔毎に、診断開始時点からの上記吸入空気量の平均値を求め、この平均吸入空気量に基づいて吸入空気量積算閾値を逐次設定する請求項1に記載の排気センサの劣化診断装置。
- 内燃機関の排気通路において触媒装置の下流側に配置された排気センサの劣化を診断する方法であって、
内燃機関の吸入空気量に応じて、該吸入空気量が大きいほど大となる特性でもって吸入空気量積算閾値を設定し、
診断開始時点から吸入空気量を積算していき、該積算値が上記吸入空気量積算閾値に達したときに診断期間を終了し、
この診断期間における上記排気センサの出力反転回数に基づいて上記排気センサの劣化を判定する、排気センサの劣化診断方法。 - 上記吸入空気量積算閾値の設定は、所定の時間間隔毎に、診断開始時点からの上記吸入空気量の平均値を求め、この平均吸入空気量に基づいて吸入空気量積算閾値を逐次設定する請求項3に記載の排気センサの劣化診断方法。
