Abstract
Description
本発明は特に、気相または液相中でグリセリンを接触脱水反応してアクロレイン、さらにはアクリル酸を製造するのに使用される新規なグリセリン脱水用触媒と、その製造方法に関するものである。
本発明の目的は、グリセリンを原料に用いてアクロレイン及びアクリル酸を高収率で製造することができる新規な触媒を提供することにある。
本発明の一つの目的は、グリセリンを脱水反応させてアクロレインを高収率に製造することができるグリセリン脱水反応触媒を提供することにある。
本発明の他の目的は、上記触媒の製造方法を提供することにある。
(1)水熱合成によって調製されたニオブ酸化物(以下NbOxと表記、Nbはニオブ)による、グリセリンを接触脱水してアクロレインおよびアクリル酸を製造するのに用いるグリセリン脱水触媒。
(2)触媒活性成分がニオブ酸化物であって、該ニオブ酸化物のXRD(Cu-Kα線、λ=1.5418 nm)において、2θ=22.6°±0.3°と46.1°±0.3°にのみそれぞれ1つの回折線ピークを有することを特徴とするグリセリンを接触脱水してアクロレインおよびアクリル酸を製造するのに用いるグリセリン脱水用触媒。
(3)上記ニオブ酸化物がWを更に含有する。(以下、WbNbOxと表記、Wはタングステン、Nbはニオブ、b>0、xはNbとWの酸化数によって定まる値)
(4)上記化合物の組成が下記式(1)で表される:
Aa(WbNbOx)・nH2O (1)
(式(1)中のAは周期表の第1族から第16族に属する元素及びアンモニウムから選ばれる少なくとも一種を表し、Wはタングステン、Nbはニオブを表す。式中のaは0≦a、bは0≦b、xは各元素の酸化数によって定まる値である。nは任意の正数)
(5)上記二オブ酸化物に、第1族から第16族に属する元素及びアンモニウム塩から選ばれる少なくとも1種の元素の塩をさらに添加して使用する。
(6)加熱により酸化物となるニオブ化合物を水熱合成によって酸化物とする。
(7)グリセリン接触脱水によるアクロレインおよびアクリル酸製造での使用。
水熱合成終了後、反応液を冷却し、固形分をろ過、水洗、乾燥する。
Aa(WbNbOx)・nH2O (1)
(式(1)中のAは周期表の第1族から第16族に属する元素及びアンモニウムから選ばれる少なくとも一種を表し、Wはタングステン、Nbはニオブを表す。式中のaは0≦a、bは0≦b、xは各元素の酸化数によって定まる値であり、nは任意の正数である。)
触媒を再生するときは反応器から分離させてもよい。系外で再生するときは、触媒を取り出し、空気または酸素含有ガス中で燃焼する。液相反応を行うときは、固体触媒用の一般的な液相反応器で行うことができる。グリセリン(290℃)とアクロレイン及びアクリル酸の沸点差が大きいため、生成したアクロレインを連続的に蒸留する上では、比較的低い温度で運転することが好ましい。
7.4529gのシュウ酸水素ニオブ(Nb(HC2O4)5・nH2O)を25 mlの蒸留水に分散し、10分間超音波にかけた。上記ニオブ酸分散液をオートクレーブに移し、175℃で3 日間水熱合成した。得られたスラリー液を吸引濾過し、蒸留水で洗浄後、80℃で一晩乾燥させNbOxを得た。得られた触媒のX線回折パターンを[図1]に示した。2θ=22.6°と46.1°に1つの回折線ピークが見られた。
得られた上記触媒を用い、常圧固定床流通式反応装置で反応評価を行った。触媒粉末を加圧成型後、粉砕して篩いに通し、9〜12 meshの顆粒を調製した。この触媒顆粒を10 cc分、SUS反応管(直径20mm)に充填し、30重量%のグリセリン水溶液をポンプを介して、21 g/hの流量で300℃に加熱した気化器に搬送し、ガス化した後、気体状のグリセリンを窒素と共に直接流通させた。反応温度は300℃、供給ガスの各成分の組成はグリセリン:窒素:水=6.3mol%:18.9mol%:74.8mol%、GHSVは2445h-1である。
生成物はコンデンサーで凝縮液として回収し、ガスクロマトグラフ(GL science製GC-4000、DB-WAXカラム)により各生成物をファクター補正し、グリセリン供給量とグリセリン残量および各生成物の絶対量を求め、次の式により原料の転化率(グリセリンの転化率),
目的生成物の収率(アクロレインの収率)を算出した。
原料の転化率(%)=100×(反応した原料のモル数/供給した原料のモル量)
目的生成物の収率(%)=100×(生成した目的生成物のモル数/供給した原料のモル量)
反応結果を[表1]に示した。
まず、1.1376 gのニオブ酸(Nb2O5・nH2O)を25 mlの蒸留水に分散し、10分間超音波にかけた。別にタングステン酸アンモニウム(NH4)6(H2W12O40)・nH2O) 0.7660gを20 mlの蒸留水に溶かした。上記ニオブ酸分散液を撹拌しながら、このタングステン酸アンモニウム水溶液をゆっくりと加えた。さらにオートクレーブに移し、175℃で3 日間水熱合成した。得られたスラリー液を吸引濾過し、蒸留水で洗浄後、80℃で一晩乾燥させWNbOxを得た。得られた触媒のX線回折パターンを[図1]に示した。2θ=22.6°と46.1°にそれぞれ1つの回折線ピークが見られ、NbOxと類似の結晶構造であることが確認された。
(触媒の反応評価)
得られた上記触媒を、実験例1で示した手順で反応評価した。反応結果を[表1]に示した。
Csのイオン交換は下記の通り行った。
CsCl 0.2612gを25 mlの蒸留水に加え、撹拌し溶解した。これに実施例2で得られたWNbOx 1.0gを加え、常温で24時間撹拌した。吸引濾過し、蒸留水で洗浄後、80℃で一晩乾燥させCs交換した。
(触媒の反応評価)
得られた上記触媒を、実験例1に示した手順で反応評価した。反応結果を[表1]に示した。
WNbOxの焼成は下記の通り行った。
これに実施例2で得られたWNbOxの粉末を横型電気炉を用いて、窒素流通下500℃で3時間焼成した。
(触媒の反応評価)
得られた上記触媒を、実験例1で示した手順で反応評価した。反応結果を表1に示した。
ニオブ酸(Nb2O5・nH2O、三井金属社製)をマッフル炉を用いて、空気雰囲気下500℃で3時間焼成した。得られた触媒のX線回折パターンを[図1]に示した。2θ=22.8°、28.7°、36.9°、46.4°に強い回折線が見られ五酸化ニオブのTT相の回折線ピークであることが確認された。
(触媒の反応評価)
得られた上記触媒を、実験例1で示した手順で反応評価した。反応結果を[表1]に示した。
シュウ酸水素ニオブ(Nb(HC2O4)5・nH2O、添川理化学社製)を、マッフル炉を用いて空気雰囲気下500℃で3時間焼成した。得られた触媒のX線回折パターンを[図1]に示した。回折線ピークは見られず、非晶質であることが確認された。
(触媒の反応評価)
得られた上記触媒を、実験例1で示した手順で反応評価した。反応結果を[表1]に示した。
(1)グリセリンの脱水反応によりアクロレイン及びアクリル酸を製造するに際し、本発明の水熱合成によって合成されたニオブ酸化物(NbOx)、特にWを含有したニオブ酸化物(WNbOx)を用いた結果、アクロレイン収率が70%と極めて良好な性能を示した。
(2)本発明の範囲外となる、五酸化ニオブでは、アクロレイン収率は16%である。
Claims (7)
- グリセリンを接触脱水してアクロレインおよびアクリル酸を製造するのに用いるグリセリン脱水用触媒であって、
水熱合成によって調製されたニオブ酸化物(NbOx、Nbはニオブ、xは任意の数)から成ることを特徴とする触媒。 - 触媒活性成分がニオブ酸化物であって、該ニオブ酸化物のXRD(Cu-Kα線、λ=1.5418 nm)において、2θ=22.6°±0.3°と46.1°±0.3°にのみそれぞれ1つの回折線ピークを有することを特徴とするグリセリンを接触脱水してアクロレインおよびアクリル酸を製造するのに用いるグリセリン脱水用触媒。
- 上記ニオブ酸化物がWをさらに含有する下記式の化合物である請求項1または2に記載の触媒。
WbNbOx(ここで、Wはタングステン、Nbはニオブ、b>0、xはNbとWの酸化数によって定まる値) - 下記の式(1)で表される 請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載の触媒。
