さらに、第1の電気モータと第2の電気モータとの間の支持部材(隔壁部材)を共通化することにより、ハイブリッド駆動装置の前後方向長さを短くすることができるとともに、第1の電気モータのロータ及び第2の電気モータのロータを支持する軸受部材をそれぞれ設けることで、第1の電気モータのロータ及び第2の電気モータのロータを確実に支持することが可能となる。

図1に、本発明に係る自動車、すなわち本発明に係るハイブリッド駆動装置を搭載した自動車1の一例を示す。同図に示す自動車1は、FR(フロントエンジン・リヤドライブ)タイプの自動車であり、同図はその概略構成を模式的に示す平面図である。なお、実際の自動車においては、同図中の矢印F方向が前側、矢印R方向が後側となる。
次に、図1に示す自動車1に搭載される本発明に係るハイブリッド駆動装置7の一例として、本実施の形態に係るハイブリッド駆動装置7Bについて説明する。まず、図7のスケルトン図を参照してハイブリッド駆動装置7B全体の概略について説明し、つづいて、図8を参照して具体的な構成について詳述する。なお、これらの図においては、矢印F方向が車体の前側(内燃エンジン側)、また矢印R方向が車体の後側(ディファレンシャル装置側)となっている。
次に、図1に示す自動車1に搭載される本発明に係るハイブリッド駆動装置7の一例として、本実施の形態に係るハイブリッド駆動装置7Cについて図12のスケルトン図を参照して説明する。なお、同図においては、矢印F方向が車体の前側(内燃エンジン側)、また矢印R方向が車体の後側(ディファレンシャル装置側)となっている。
第1の電気モータ20は、ケース部材(図1参照)14に固定されたステータ24と、このステータ24の内径側において回転自在に支持されたロータ25と、を有している。この第1の電気モータ20は、そのロータ25が、上述の動力分配用プラネタリギヤ21のサンギヤS0に連結されている。このような第1の電気モータ20は、主に、サンギヤS0を介して入力される動力に基づいて発電を行い、インバータ(不図示)を介して第2の電気モータ23を駆動したり、HVバッテリハイブリッド駆動用バッテリ:不図示)に対して充電を行うものである。
次に、図1に示す自動車1に搭載される本発明に係るハイブリッド駆動装置7の一例として、本実施の形態に係るハイブリッド駆動装置7Dについて図13のスケルトン図を参照して説明する。なお、同図においては、矢印F方向が車体の前側(内燃エンジン側)、また矢印R方向が車体の後側(ディファレンシャル装置側)となっている。
図13に示すハイブリッド駆動装置7Dは、変速装置22、第1の電気モータ23、第1の電気モータ20、動力分配用プラネタリギヤ21の4つのうち、この4つすべてが入力軸10上に配置されている。これらの連結関係は、同図に示すように、以下のようになっている。

前記ハイブリッド駆動装置は、前記内燃エンジンの出力軸に前記入力軸を連結するとともに、前記出力軸にプロペラシャフトを連結して、前記内燃エンジンの出力軸,前記入力軸,前記出力軸,及び前記プロペラシャフトをほぼ同一軸線上に配置してなる、
