Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the misbranching and also to increase the processing speed by estimating the branching destination addresses when the same branching destination address are set by several times in terms of a branching instruction for register qualification. Then some of the instruction prefetching addresses sent to the IAR1 in a reading state are used to read the tables TAA4, TAB5 and TAC6. In this case the comparator 7 compares the estimated branching instruction address information given from the TAA4 with the instruction address information given from IR1.
