Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a capacitor having excellent electrical characteristic and exhibiting low resistance in a high frequency range, by making a separator paper conductive through a conductive polymer. CONSTITUTION:An anode foil 2 having a dielectric oxide film is wound together with a separator paper 1 and a cathode foil 3 to form an electrolytic capacitor. The separator paper 1 is made conductive through conductive polymers. The conductive polymers include polypyrol, polyanyline, polythiophane or polyfuran. Consequently, an electrolytic capacitor having excellent electrical characteristic and exhibiting low resistance in high frequency range can be obtained.
