Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow high density mounting and to improve mounting economy by locating a bent end on an electrode after accordingly bending a lead wire of a component, and fixing the component on a board by an adhering material. CONSTITUTION:A lead wire 2 is bent so that it is located on or in the vicinity of a plane wherein the tip thereof 2a runs along an edge in the perpendicular direction with respect to an axis of a component 1. When the tip 2a is made to come in contact with an electrode 6 located on the board 5, the component 1 gets fixed on the board 5 by an adhering material 7 which has been applied on the board 5. According to the constitution, where such clinching work as the protruded end of the lead wire is bent after inserting the wire into a mounting hole on the board is not performed, a space for a clinching unit is no longer necessary. As a result, components with lead wires can be mounted with high density and the mounting economy of such components can be improved.
