Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a brush main-unit from being oscillated and attenuate noise, by fitting a rubber sheet on the brush main-unit in the longitudinal direction, and by fitting foil material on the rubber sheet in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:On a brush main-unit 6 consisting of long conductive metal sheets, a rubber sheet 7 is bonded with adhesives, and on the rubber sheet 7, insulating metallic foil material 9 is bonded with mild adhesives 8. The tip section 6a of the brush main-unit 6 is set to a commutator sliding piece, and is pressure-welded to a commutator segment 3 in a state that the section 6a is deflected by the elasticity of the rubber sheet 7. So far as a brush with such a composition is concerned, the vertical oscillation of the brush main-unit 6 is not generated, and electrical spark is not also generated.
