Abstract

PURPOSE:To restrain the vaporization of liquefied gas to be reserved to a minimum by closing a release valve by the repulsive force due to Meissner effect acting between a superconductor and a magnet as a driving means, which are arranged in liquefied gas inside a vessel. CONSTITUTION:When an internal vessel 2 contains liquefied nitrogen 6, a driving body 17 constituting a release valve driving means 19 becomes in a superconductive state to be lifted up from a fixed body 18 being a magnet by Meissner effect, so that a plug 12 is moved upward via a rod 16 to close the release valve 13. And when air flows into the internal vessel 2 with the use of liquefied nitrogen 6 or due to the other causes to be liquefied by the cold heat of the liquefied nitrogen 6, liquefied oxygen is gradually accumulated and increased, and the temperature of the driving body 17 rises up to the neighborhood of the liquefying temperature of oxygen. As a result, the superconductive state of the driving body 17 disappears to open the release valve 13, so that liquefied oxygen remained inside is quickly vaporized and discharged to the outside. Thus, the vaporization of liquefied gas to be reserved can be restrained to a minimum.
