Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce in size and weight a superconducting device and to decrease the using amount and consumption amount of refrigerant of lower temperature by winding superconductors having high critical temperature on second and third superconducting magnets, dividing a vessel into inner and outer peripheral sides, and containing low temperature refrigerant and the magnet at the inner peripheral side and high temperature refrigerant and the magnet at the outer peripheral side. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting magnet 2 on which a superconductor of low critical temperature and low temperature refrigerant are contained together in a vessel 5, and superconducting magnets 3, 4 on which superconductors of high critical temperature and high temperature refrigerant are contained together in a vessel 5'. The vessels 5, 5' are formed by dividing a conventional vessel, the volumes of the respective refrigerants are naturally reduced, and the outer diameter of a superconducting device 1 is reduced due to the omission of a heat insulating tank, thereby performing reduction in size and weight.
