Abstract

PURPOSE:To retard the pressure rising rate in a tank by arranging funnel-shaped bulkheads with their upper large diameter opening ends being fixed to the internal wall of a tank body. CONSTITUTION:Funnel-shaped bulkheads 10 are arranged in a tank with their large diameter opening ends 10a being fixed to the inner wall 2a of the tank body 1 and with their small diameter opening ends 10b being placed downward. Hereby, the liquefied gas warmed up by the invading heat is once stored under the bulkhead and is fed upward after raising the liquid temperature of that portion, thus the liquefied gas temperature in the tank is equalized and the temperature rise of the liquid surface layer is suppressed, and the pressure rising rate in the tank can be retarded.
