PURPOSE:To secure the EGR quantity without a throttle valve by providing a timing valve on the upstream side of an EGR passage connection section in a suction passage and advancing the closing time of the timing valve in relation to the closing time of a suction port. CONSTITUTION:A load detecting means 25 detecting the load based on the accelerator operation quantity or the like and a rotating speed detecting means 26 are connected to a control circuit 20, which controls the fuel injection quantities of the first and second injectors 13, 14 injecting the fuel on an operation chamber 6, injection timing, and the opening and closing timing of a timing valve 21 provided on a suction passage 9. An EGR passage 22 with a return control valve 23 is connected at the downstream of the timing valve 21, the timing valve 21 is closed earlier than the time when a suction port 8 is closed, thereby EGR is performed by the negative pressure thus generated.
