CONSTITUTION:A V-groove 4 where the needle material 2 can been stably inserted and held is provided on the top of a block 5 and a groove pulley 7 having plural grooves 8 on its outside peripheral surface is arranged above the groove 4. Further, a pressing-in device 12 and a hold-down lever 6 are arranged respectively. The needle material 2 is charged to the V-groove 4 from a hopper 9 via the groove pulley 7 and supplied to the position close to a lens 11 from the machining position. The hold-down lever 6 holds the needle material 2 and the pressing-in device 12 presses in the needle material 2 up to the accurate position and oscillates and shunts it. By this method, the accurate laser beam piercing is carried out on the needle material 2. Since positioning accuracy of the needle material 2 is improved, the piercing accuracy and efficiency are improved.
